I cant believe we're getting all these stupid rumours from these no name sites. Rockstar hasn't even finished GTA 4 and you expect me to believe Sony has them in a contract for GTA 5 exclusive?! From HDstart.com? Give me scans and Ill believe you. What's even worst is that we have some moron from "pstart.com" saying differently. PLEASE PEOPLE! CREDIBLE SITES ONLY!
It'll look a lot better to the average consumer to only se a 300 pound PS3 instead of a more expensive one as well. This puts the PS3 in par with the elite.
Advantages of PS3 over 360:
Wifi, Bluray, Linux install, rip your own videos, and don't forget PS3's HUMOUNGOUS amount of exclusive games already here, and coming soon. (GT5, KZ2, GoW3, GTA7, etc.)
Keep thinking that if it makes you feel better. While you, my bad I mean WE are both playing Halo 4, I'll have GTA 5 beside me and so will everyone else who EXCLUSIVELY can afford a PS3.
GTA 1 - 1
GTA 2 - 2
GTA 3 - 3
GTA Vice city - 4
SAn andreas - 5
GTA 4 - 6
Sony's exclusive GTA - 7
Microsoft paid $50M for downloadable content. Sony will probably pay $50M and support all the game's development, marketing and extras. Games barely cost $10M to make, and Microsoft threw $50M for DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT?! Finally, Sony is back and hitting hard. Have fun running the race Microsoft, because Sony will be the only one to run the marathon.
Don't insult it. Im sorry you're probably some poor kid who can't afford a PS3, but atleast get your facts straight.
1. They are third place because they're console cost the most...Early 07 was slow, I can admit that. So, the fact that they had absolutely no marketing in Early 07, barely any games, and the highest price tag, they sold really well.
2. Keep in mind this news is about THIS holiday. According to Kotaku, PS3 has the largest and best lineup of exclusiv...
Your PSN is 7 months old, yet you get a lot more demos than the North American PSN when it was 7 months old. Plus, if the developer doesn't want to release a demo in Europe, Sony can't force them. So, please stop complaining, and when your PS Store is 10 months old, it'll probably be as good as ours. Plus, if it's demos that you want, invest the time that you do complaining into creating a free US account.
Great Store updated nonetheless. It's unfortunate that Ratchet and Clank got pushed back a week, but Im anxious to see how much fun it is to go skiing with the SIXAXIS. At only $2.99, I think this'll be a steal. Im also looking forward to the Simpsons demo, but I have no clue what the hell Bladestorm is. The HAZE interview and Uncharted Behind the scenes should also be good. Hopefully the Store gets updated tonight, which'll break Sony's Thursday schedule.
What's wrong with some of your guys? Microsoft directly copied the idea from Sony. Trivia games on a console, ok cool, the industry is expanding. But the copied every single detail down to the big button controller. Do all of your remote controls have a BIG RED button on the front and 4 smaller buttons? Only Sony's Buzz! did, but now it looks like Copysoft's, I mean Microsoft's does too.
I'll admit that there are problems with porting games onto the PS3, but I really think it's the fact that the games are ports. Look at a game like Resistance: Fall of Man. It was a launch title and destroys any 3rd party PS3 game. Everything from lighting, to sound, to detail, to environments, to online play, to steady framerates. If Insomniac can pull off an amazing game like Resistance at LAUNCH, why can't EA or Midway 10 MONTHS LATER? I personally think they just don't want to invest so mu...
The core used to make no sense to me, so it's nice that they address it. $280 is a pretty good price for the 360, memory unit and arcade games. It's definitely a smart strategy for Microsoft. They are able to offer a more compelling package for the same price, as well as educate the mass consumer that arcade games exist and are available on the 360.
It'll obviously have very high standards and be the best of quality, but maps don't really matter to me. It's confirmed to ship with over 40 maps, but with even with say 10 maps, I'd be happy. Unlike the 360 owners, us PS3 users will be able to share mods from the PC. There are thousands of dedicated mod makers on the PC, meaning thousands of maps for us. A game like Resistance shipped with what, like 12 maps? That game sold over 2 Million on PS3 because of the fun factor, and a game like UT3...
1 month for a few extra maps, free of charge. Plus, I can play HAZE and Call of Duty 4 in November, and switch it up to some sci-fi Unreal in December.
With all these rumours from trusted sites, as well a doses of "sources" from various sites, you can pretty much say this is true, but not officially confirmed by Microsoft or Bungie.
Why would Microsoft just lose a billion dollar franchise? Im guessing they're feeling alright, because they'll just hire other developers to create games under the Microsoft published Halo brand. But seriously, they paid $50M for Bungie, turned it into a billion dollar franchise, and now they want to say bye?
Ill repeat what I said in my other post:
"Relax, it hasn't been delayed
Epic has never stated an official release date for either version. I don't remember them ever saying "UT3 - In stores November." They simply stated that November was a target, but several times mentioned that they'd rather have a quality product and wouldn't focus on the release date. Like GTA4, that was delayed. Rockstar specifically stated a release date of Oct.16, but delayed it to...

Microsoft has nothing to do with this. In fact, Sony has a multi stage deal with Epic Games. Here's what we know so far:
1. To improve the Unreal Engine
2. Unreal Tournament 3 a timed console exclusive
3. Another exclusive PS3 game.
If this was EA games or Rockstar, but Epic isn't like that. They'll release a quality product when they feel it is quality. They're not going to rely on expansions or updates to make the game better. If you look at their past games, they haven't really had bugs or issues. Even though Im pissed at the possibility of the delay, I respect Epic for their integrity.
You can pretty much expect the buzz online to be enormous. Obviously, we'll have the xbox guys saying "Don't worry, its coming to 360 soon", but only we can play b3yond.
