It's funny that Micro$oft hasn't even bothered releasing an official PR letter about their NPD #'s. Let me guess. Shortages? You guys just can't stand when PS3 beats you can you? And, if you don't think 20K is much, wait till next month. MGS4>Every game 360 has.
After saying that PS3 was a POS and could never outsell the 360, you're precious wave of red lights are being murdered in worldwide sales, and being beat in you're home country. What happened, POS? The MEGATON, $30M marketing behemoth ala Halo 3 got a 9.6. You know it's a big deal when you see Pontiac cars with Halo 3 on them, or when you see your drinks having a logo on them, or even when you taste the worst Mountain Dew flavour - Halo. After reviewers received an $800 gift bag from Microsoft, it was pretty obvious they'd up the score a bit.

Today was the day XBOX and M$ just got pwned. Actually it was this whole week. First, Apple comes out and destroys Windows Mobile with the iPhone 3G. Then today, MGS4 is sold out in every store, with the demand for the bundles literally bringing down sites. On top of that, it gets PWNED with the NPD numbers.

Usually you're so open minded and non biased, but you're basically saying that even if it was a 10/10, perfect game, you still wouldn't buy it because of the main character? If 50 can pull off his "gangsta" look and capture that crowd, plus deliver a phenomenal game to capture the hearts of hardcore gamers, why is it a negative thing? It's 50 Cent, but if its a good game, who cares?
Don't try blaming this on gas prices. Blame this on the lack of innovation from EA's crappy football series. Every year its the same fuc*ing thing! Competition is the good thing, so I have no idea why you're complaining. Competition simulates innovation, features, and price. People like The Mart or Power of Green can not handle this. I'm warning you now. Their preschool is over and their XBOX is broken. All they usually do is make fun of PS3, but they're parents would ban them from the Internet if their 7-year-old @rses were found watching girls with no shirts!!!!!!!

I think I'm going to need a larger hard drive. I have so many videos on here that my 60GB hard drive has a mere 7GB left!
I will probably rent it, and then if MGO is really good, buy it. I never played any of the other MGS games on PS2, PSP, or PS1, so I really don't want to feel confused throughout the story, which I have a strong feeling I will. Everyone tells me that MGS4's story is so deep, which is the reason I probably won't buy it. If it's so deep, how will I understand it all? I don't really want to spend all those hours playing MGS1-3.

Add the extra cost onto the 360 + royalties for Sony + tons of Xbox owners getting pissed = $$$
+ Don't forget that there are Sony BMG music on the Live marketplace. Sony PCs also run Windows Vista software. Sony doesn't really care about taking down Microsoft, they just want the most money possible.
I for one am glad he got rid of that PoS. He may have had to pay $20 to give it to some stupid Micro$hit fanbot, but it was well worth it to get that expensive, noisy, flaming hot paperweight away from his home.

Something as valuable as having your PS3 signed by one of the world's most talented developers, Hideo Kojima is something I could never sell. It's one of those things where the memory and the satisfaction outweighs any amount of dollar one could offer.
Releasing MGS4 on June.12th will allow 18 days of fans to get their hands on the game. I'm guessing it'll be the best selling game on PS3, selling 800K-1M+ in North America for the June NPD's, and that's w/o bundled copies.
