It is not plain stupid. Every company in the world should look at successful products, in this case WoW. By doing that, by looking at how different aspects of other MMO:s are praised or hated, they could have forseen a lot of mistakes.
I was in the beta, and everything bad that is written about the game is unfortunately true.
This author sums it up very well and it makes me sad that the game turned out this way. The Final Fantasy universe has an incredible potential. I don't think this is a matter of lack of resources. I think that the problem lies with the organization of the different development teams within the team. Obviously they have very capable people, but the cooperation must have been abysmal...

I don't understand why the ps3 is so undertracked here. The ps3 had sold over 38 million at the end of June.

Well I pre-order games if they are not released when I can afford them :P So that way I ensure that I will get it on launch day :)
Both systems are doing really well in America. If you add all pre-orders for Xbox on the top 30 you get a total of 2760922 games and 1683530 for the ps3. If you divide the ps3 numbers with the Xbox numbers you find that the ps3 has "sold" about 61% of the amount of games pre-ordered for the Xbox360.

vgchartz number of sold prologues is wrong with over 1 million. The GT5 prologue has sold very close to 5 million copies to this date.

I will jump on the 3D wagon when ps4 is released :) The the prices will be low by then and the technique will be more developed. I hope that Sony will bring out stereoscopic split-screen with the ps4. Would be truly awesome. I also won't invest in a Wii nor an Xbox until the next generation. Although I am gonna buy a ps3 (cause I need a gaming console so badly + a blu-ray player) and a a 100 hz 40 inch full HD TV once I get a job.

Yeah. A "review" that has personal opinion without any motivation with facts, is not a review. You simply can't say just "It sucks". You need to explain what it is that sucks and why it sucks and relate it to something to really show why your opinion should be considered as qualified when it comes to determine the quality of a product, whether it be a game or some piece of hardware.
Sony is probably gonna include this in the Ps4 when it is launched. They have filed a patent for stereoscopic split-screen so I think we can expect that :)

It wasn't 4th in sales. If I understand correctly, it is a bit unclear, the sales mentioned here is the 4th best week ever for the playstation 3 in Japan. At least that is what I think they are aiming at.
