Transfer of accounts to the PS4 will not be a problem, I see no reason to why they wouldn't make it possible to transfer. They have enabled cloud-saves so when the launch of the ps4 draws near, we will probably get an option to upload our ps3 profile to the cloud, so I don't think you have to worry :)
But cross-generation play is another matter. Then the ps4 would have to be backwardscompatible, and that I don't know about. If they use some updated version of the ...
Well this also means that they will do whatever they want. Their creativity won't be hindered by anything. They can make the game that they want! :)
@ FatOldMan: Was just about to add something like that. Small developers often have to play it safe, which is a problem and can hinder creativity.
@BeastlyRig: No problem man, I haven't "disagreed" with you :)
Well if the NPC's (The agressive ones) were perfect in the way you are describing, then it would be like playing against another player. And that would make the game insanely difficult.
You do mention that passive NPC's should move around, change location etc, and on that point, I agree completely.
Imagine a Grand Theft Auto title where other players pops up in your game if they are close enough in the real world :D Wouldn't that be awesome? :D
Ye I actually bought Windows 7 Ultimate a few months ago, and I intend to keep that OS for at least 8 years. It is a really good one :)
Well it might also be because that the architecture of the Xbox 360 is much more similar to a PC than the architecture in the ps3 with the CELL and all :)
@darx Yeah I know, but the faster the RAM is the more it can handle without us noticing and downsides. I was merely pointing out that the speed might compensate a bit for the low amount of RAM :)
But You have to remember that the RAM in at least the ps3 is much faster than any RAM available to consumers today. it runs in over 3 Ghz if I'm not mistaken, but still its to little, in both consoles for todays need ^^
Well I would accept it if a deal like "Buy 1 game get 1 for free" came along with it :P Or some PSN redeemable codes of some sort :)
My limit will probably be around $400-$450, but it feels like it is probably gonna be 250-300 for Wifi only and 350 for wifi+3G.
I think its time for a Wii 2 that supports at least 720p due to the fact that, at least in the west, they don't manufacture sub-HD tv:s anymore :P
I don't own a Wii, perhaps an updated version will come to Wii 2? :D Going to buy a "Wii 2" though!
On topic, I love to see that the series returns to the vibrant colors. I'm tired of dark and damp :P
omg, that game requires 2MB of RAM.
I am jumping on the Nintendo-train again the next generation :) As it is now, I don't want to have a sub-HD console on an HD-tv :P Can't wait to enjoy Mario, Zelda and all that again :)
Well the major problem for Nintendo will be appealing to the casual audience once again. I believe that most casual gamers will be happy with phone-games or browser-based games this time around. And a lot of casuals probably won't rush out and by another console. And Nintendo is not unique with their motion-based gaming anymore.
@Juju, that video truly shows how intuitive the AR feature that comes with the NGP is. To be able to look around in the game world without the need of the analog sticks is an incredible improvement and a great, great feature. I don't think everyone realizes just how good that is. I am so wanting an NGP. Once it becomes available for pre-order and the launch-lineup is revealed, I am going to pre-order one. If there is a game I want.
It will be my first portable since Game ...
The touchpad on the back can probably act as L3 and R3 when needed :)
Sony isn't targeting hackers for tampering with the hardware, not directly. They are doing it, and have the right to, because of the very natures of the modification and exploitation of the hardware since it enables the hardware to play future/past/present software that you might not have paid for. I am glad that they are pursuing this they way they are.
I think that "Gamer fatigue" plays a huge part in not enjoying games as much as I/you used to. I think a lot of gamers simply have played to much. :)
The risk that Microsoft has taken is great. Not because of Kinect itself, I have no opinion about that since I only have Move, but rather because of the audience it mainly aims at. Casuals normally don't buy as many games as "gamers". My parents bought a Wii a couple of years ago, and they only have Wii Sports, which came along with that. They haven't used their Wii for over two years. If Microsoft focuses to much on appealing to the casual audience and invest to much, it mi...
I am not saying that. I am saying that the amount of total ram in the system (it includes Vram, RAM and all other types of RAM)
