I actually managed to get a hold of the script of the entire episode:

Why can't we get the SimCity Cities of November 12th DLC tomorrow then. This doesn't add up at all.
Well, yeah, but did you get it from your parents? Shouldn't they buy him education games and stuff? I agree it's good to see a kid who appreciates getting gifts though.
The source is a YouTube comment? What is this?
Yay! This looks like a classic Ace Combat. Take that, Assault Horizon, you magnificent son of a bitch.
Of course money has something to do with it. The list is basically an advertisement, where Toys R Us can front products of third parties that they want to sell, and third parties can front their products.
You can do that on PS3 too, but only in certain games (Starhawk, Resistance 2). I'm hoping for a more universal support this time around. Collecting trophies at a friend's house would be neat.
Small technical gimmick, more like
@otherZinc
Rainbow Six Vegas from 2006/7? That game looked incredibly ugly on PS3. Why? Because it's a terrible port. I doubt that pushed PS3s limits in any way. 360 had the better version, and it was still ugly.
Anyway, PS3 exclusives aren't particularly linear next to Xbox exclusives. inFamous 2, for instance, runs great, looks great and isn't linear.
@darkpower
Well, my comments still work within that context. Yay!
@jimsas
If you've played Uncharted 3, you know it's smooth a margarine. Sure it's 30, but it never drops a single frame. And with so many particles and explosions, it makes other games look tame.
A frame rate this slick, is enough to sedate a family of six.
PS3 architecture was difficult to work with though, so yes, on multiplatform titles you didn't see much difference. Then again, PS3 exclusives have typically been the ones to push the boundaries in console graphics the last generation.
In other words, the frame rate in Uncharted 3 is so smooth I can't believe it's not butter, and with a polygon count that high one can easily be fooled into thinking it's edible. Especially with 3D glasses on. Halo 4 on the oth...
The guys at Famitsu must really love games, seeing how nearly every time they rate one of those they're all like "8/8/8/8/8/7/6". In particular, they must love well-established, high budget franchises, because every time one of those appear we tend to see scores such as 10/10/10/10/10/10/10/10/10/10/ 9/10/10^10
Must be nice to have so much fun with games every time. And they earn a lot of money too! Hmm...
No, that's like the generation after that. One dog feature at a time. Whistling takes up a lot of the GPU.
@People
Omg, no one is arguing that all PC gamers steal. Or that console gamers don't. I'm just saying that this won't stop those who do from doing it.

You lie. You lost both your arms to that ferocious bear. You can't pet your dog.
Agree. As if PC gamers will stop stealing games because of this. It's actually a game worth buying, after all.
Boy, I've seen birth defects more expected than this. Nice going, Sony. Was not expecting that.
Really cool feature (the sound thing, and the article). Looking forward to the game.
And to think I actually had six bubbles for a while. That was just too unfair to be real, so I had to do something. Anyway, I think the gals at the view are great. They always have some interesting and insightful commentary to provide, and they're very funny and reflected at the same time. Great show. Great show.
