There's really only one of these I'd really go as far as calling snobs, and that's PC gamers. I mean, there are plenty of legitimate reasons to prefer PC, graphics included, but some PC gamers do not understand console gamers, because they can't get an ******* unless they're staring at something in 1440p.
While I got the impression that a lot of people were turned off immediately by RYSE because it seemed to be a QTE-fest. Some PC gamers here on N4G seem t...
Must be least interesting game per developer then.

Most games on console are actually not hyped by their resolution. One of the reasons I like owning a console.
Reminds me of:

Except of course, that you will be frozen in the same position for hours like a statue.
Amusing read, but you did lose me a little bit on Europa Universalis III. I mean, the name basically means "One Europe".
If that's the case, then they're failing hard on dialogue. FFV's dialogue made more sense to a western than FFXIII.
On some level I agree. There aren't that many differences between different western countries or continents when it comes to games they make (even though, I'd definitely say there are some). For instance, Crysis, Battlefield and Grand Theft Auto are not made by Americans, but they're as American as they come in terms of characters, story and background. The main difference is probably between Western and Japanese, and I have to say, I'd be much more worried about what the term...

Yeah, they're still upset about DmC: Devil May Cry.
@Kaz
Fair enough. Here are some of the games on console that I think look better than the first Crysis on PC: Killzone 2, Killzone 3 (though this one has more ups and downs than KZ2), Dishonored, Bioshock: Infinite, Uncharted 2, Uncharted 3, God of War 3, Ascension, The Last of Us (in most ways), Crysis 2 and 3 on console, Witcher 2 on 360. I'd say car games like NFS Most Wanted, Forza Horizon and Dirt 3 stand their chance too, once you respect that they're car games, and hell...

I agree with 3-4-5, but if you actually go back to Crysis it's pretty easy to see that there are tons of games that are better looking. On console, and especially on PC.

- No, he doesn't. He made one good decision once.
What a fallacy.
Plenty of CEOs start out really well, only to run out of good ideas, so what Iwata has done doesn't really defend what he is doing.
Anyway. Iwata has been terrible when it comes to communicating with the western market, yet he's also the CEO of Nintendo America. How on earth that makes sense when Reggie exists, I will never know. Particularly...

Judging by Skylanders: Swap Force, Wii U is much closer to PS3 and 360 than to PS4. Judging by every game released on Wii U up until now, actually. Mario Kart looks really nice though, so I'm not saying it can't improve. It's just that games like The Division, Destiny and The Order are already shown for the PS4 (and XONE) so I think the difference is going to be pretty noticeable.
EDIT:
Also, take a quick look at this comparison:
Call Obama fast.
Well, I bet this will have people selling their gaming rigs in uproar.
Every flipping body.
Well, story and everything associated with that is part of a game too. A reviewer is free to weigh the different aspects of a game different than most people do, even if that means most people are less likely to agree with the review.
