Game journalism is not in a particularly good state, but gaming communities are even worse. I'm sure more quality articles will be written when people start to read.
Saw Forza live this friday. If that game needs the cloud to run, then shame on Xbox One. The environments looked surprisingly bland, and interior view on the cars was kind of disappointing. It doesn't look bad, just not THAT good either.

THANK YOU. It seems everyone seems to think either that Drive Club doesn't come close to Forza 5 or the other way around. Both look great. MAYBE Drive Club a little better from what I've seen, but it's not like it's a no-brainer.

Well, then you can't play online anymore. Even so, in most cases you'll be able to play online for at least a couple of years.

Granted, Halo sells well, but it's not the best selling exclusive, as a google search would tell you. Actually, it's quite far from it (Mario-franchise, Wii-franchise, Gran Turismo are some of the ones ahead of it).
Also, they're not THAT new to the gaming world compared to Sony. They have two generations behind them, Sony has three. Don't see why that would matter though.

The appeal of steam boxes is that they offer, or at least it look like they will, the ease of use that consoles will. Every now and then I hook up my laptop to my TV to play Super Meat Boy, but I rarely bother, because it's so much easier to do it on console. God, there's not a day I don't reg...
