That seems kind of unrelated. I can still technically see the same animation twice.
What if play the game twice? Or if I record the game and watch it afterwards? Which brave journalist will ask these tough questions?
@Dmagic
I don't know. I find pretty much all the franchises you mentioned more enjoyable than CoD recently. The last time I found myself thinking CoD looked tempting was MW2.
Well, he clicked to say "this sucks". Fair enough.
Forza looks more detailed for sure, but what I don't get is how people can say that Forza 5 looks vastly superior to Drive Club. Look at those Forza 5 images. Then look at some images from Drive Club. I'd say one is superior all right, but it isn't Forza.
Ok, I agree that Mario Kart 8 looks fantastic, but that took it a little too far.
It's difficult to save Wii U when all its (two) best games are preferably played with a pro controller. They really should've toned down the second screen thing.
Anyway, not to be negative though, Mario Kart 8 looks and sounds awesome.
Well, tons of games are in fact much less than 7$.
Then again, tons of games are the length of a film.
And then again, I haven't read the article and am judging it by the title, so I don't really belong here.
I prefer the 360 controller over the PS3 one, but symmetrical sticks is probably one of the things I like better with the PS3 controller. The D-pad is almost useless on 360.
You're in for years of disappointment, buddy.
You're saying what everyone is saying.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. PS2 still exists, FIFA 14 is coming out on PS2 etc.
But, we're talking about a game that caters to a hardcore audience, here. They're likely to be quicker to change generations than your average FIFA player.
"Given that it still has a much bigger install base "than the PS4" (quotation marks?)" Well, PS4 isn't out yet, so naturally PS3 has a bigger install base. By the time Mighy No 9 comes out, however, it...
Does PS3 even exist in 2015? PS4 to be released even further into the future, when 2022?
Well, your "current-gen" started out with blurry mess Need For Speed Carbon at 20fps around the bend, and it still managed to give us Most Wanted. Everything is gonna be alright.
And I'd rather play GTAV.
True enough, my mistake. I meant online multiplayer though, and I think San Andreas was only offline? At least on console. Anyway, there's the step from same-screen co-op offline to 32 player open world multiplayer online
I agree. Also, people loved GTAIV originally (yes, players and critics alike), but the further away we get from it, the less they like it (yes, critics and players alike)
No, this is every single game company ever. Believe it or not, even though Take-Twos turn insanely much profit on GTA, they have traditionally posted losses every non-GTA year, so it's fairly decent of them to actually spend five years on GTAV and not make an annual installment.
It's not enough anymore, btw.
Still. This is lame.
Then again, GTA didn't even have multiplayer until GTAIV...
Don't facepalm yourself to sleep. First of all, that's a difficult way to get some rest. Second of all, the question wasn't THAT silly. Sure, the answer is pretty obvious, but hey, at least now we know. I guarantee you it's a better question than the average game journalism question.
