Even so, I think both Forza 5 and Drive Club look more interesting than GT6. Probably because of the generation leap, though.
I'm also a bit sceptic to PS4 at launch. I'll see when it comes out what games are well reviewed. Same goes for XONE.

Given that Nintendo titles have been long burners the last years, it's not bad, but hardly impressive. Second place was a "Tales of" JRPG. Third and fourth were also Japanese (one of them on Vita). And this is the US market. It's not exactly high season.
Small install base? You bet. Strange that it didn't move more consoles.
On a sidenote, it's good to see creative Japanese games making their way to the States.

Oh my God, that is such unbelievable BS. You had that all the time. I am actually glad PS3 is outselling 360 for that reason. Won't have to listen to Major Nelson's about every NPD chart ever released, even when they were second to the Wii. Add Steve Ballmer and Peter Moore to that list, and you had a self-indugent festival which has seen no equal.
This even went on with some of the developers. You'd have Microsoft and Turn 10 constantly taking hits at Gran Turis...

Seriously, though. I really like All-Stars. Great game, but not quite on Smash's level, maybe. I think it was incredibly ambitious the way characters played so differently. On that particular point they smashed Smash Bros, but the presentation was really lacking for a game of this type. It simply didn't feel AAA

Usually, when developers pre-hype their announcements it's not that amazing. Very rarely, it's a new game, and if it is it's usually not what we expect. But even so, I can't help but cross my fingers for LBP PS4.
