Sony really are too. If you compare PS1, PS2 and PS3 to the competition, that really becomes quite clear. Even PS Vita is actually doing quite well in the new IP department, with Tearaway, Sound Shapes and Gravity Rush being great examples of that.
"Freedom of speech", he said!
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. Also, we're all for hacks to circumvent the DRM."

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars. I know Battle-Cars 2 will be out by then, but some games can't be bought too often.
I think "more gamers prefer to play on Sony consoles" is a weird way of interpreting those stats, but interesting stats nonetheless.
Agree. Almost every screenshot comparison is, though.
Except this one:

The masses aren't looking like they'll change though...
Anyway, some commercials for a great game like Super Mario 3D world and an open-world Pokémon. There you go, Nintendo. That's your strategy.
Thing is though, that PS4 and One plays third party games too, that are very well received and look fairly next gen.
Also, do they get a free pass? Seems to me a lot of people have taken issue to the line-ups, but are more interested in next-gen hardware than in Wii U's tablet controller gimmick.
300 characters over 3 tweets. Not sure if that qualifies as rant. Ok, a little more than three tweets, but still...
Holy swipes! Did they just even say that? Warhawk on PS4 would be a dream come true. Coming from a guy who's not a big fan of porting old games.
First of all, having actually played all the KZ games, KZ Shadow Fall is pretty vastly different from the rest of the franchise. Maybe one of the reasons it's not quite as good as the others.
ZombiU, from what I played, had three good ideas, but lacked the sauce to tie them together. Had ZombiU been released on PS4 or One, I'm pretty sure it'd be smashed by critics for its looks, so the standards are maybe a little different between the three consoles.

Well, like the articles states this is really about "right now".
PS4 more than doubled Nintendo Wii U's first week of global sales, in a day, having only launched in North America. The Wii U has since then not even gotten close to the sales it pushed during its first month (3.06 million), selling only 825.000 since then. That's ridiculously weak.

I think Nintendo has some of the best development studios in the world, so I don't want to miss out on them. At the same time, I think the Wii U hardware is pretty bad. Would much prefer a new and vastly improved Nintendo console (and controller) or to see Mario make the jump to other consoles.

It's one punctuation at the end of each sentence, not one at the end of each massive block of text.

I'm sorry, but nothing suggests that Wii U users are gonna get this widely different experience. As far as I'm concerned, the tablet integration for PS4 and Xbox One have been equally interesting until now, and may continue to be so. Also, these consoles are powerful enough to play around with Kinect/Camera technology, and eventually virtual reality. What's left for Nintendo then?
"Superior" to other controllers is such a bs statem...
That's kind of... exactly what they did.
I disagree.
It feels light, clunky and somehow more plastic than the other plastic controllers. You're right, most of the games don't really use the touch screen all that much (it's not over-used), and that is why it's annoying to be holding a controller that's essentially a board fitted to your hands instead of a smaller controller that rests perfectly in your palms. Is the screen useful? Sometimes. And in games like Nintendoland it's even fun, but t...
Crappy controller does.
In all seriousness, though. I think Wii U will pick up the pace. Super Mario 3D Land looks fantastic, Windwaker HD is great and with MK8 and Smash Bros on the horizon, it'll have a good offering soon.
HOWEVER, I wish they just stuck to the pro controller. Maybe tweaked the Wii controller a little bit. I can't stand that awful 5$ (est. value, not price) "tablet".
Looks awesome! Still not used to seeing Ace Combat with PS3 graphics. Assault Horizon didn't quite feel like Ace Combat.
I think this is the best part:
"Pokemon is not transphobic because they don’t include cross-dressing options (I’m not kidding, that’s been argued.) The designer of Spelunky did not sit down and go 'this damsel in distress is going to be running around each level because hurr durr women are stupid and helpless.'"
I would've wished for more examples early on, because in the beginning I was thinking you made a big fuzz out of very little, ...
"the Wii U is gaining momentum at the right time, in all regions."
No... Listen, if you sell one console in January and two consoles in February, then that's a 100% sales increase. This is Christmas, the time of year when parents buy kids consoles, and while the sale increase may be high in terms of percentage, the sale numbers are still low.
