I've heard rumours that breakthrough research is being done at Harvard that could lead to mankind finally understanding the events of the Kingdom Hearts franchise.
Not even the Occupy Movement messed up its PR as bad as Gamergate did. I guess that's what being a movement is all about. Having the most offensive voices be risen to the top by the media.
That being said, there were a lot of seemingly well-subscribed GG conspiracy theories that were utterly ridiculous. Anita Sarkeesian working on Mirror's Edge 2, for instance.
Agree very much with the author.
Although, nothing has me less sold on any point than a speech from V for Vendetta. Might as well have gone with Dumb and Dumber 2 (slight overstatement).
Agree that 60fps is better than 30fps, but have you played Project Cars?
If not, don't assume that it'll play better. The driving in Driveclub is awesome.
Ok, I can't leave it at that. What really impresses me about this list is that there are so many new IPs. And not just indies, either.
And the insane thing, is that in spite of this list being composed of 30 titles, it still missed out on some of my favorites. If we're going to include console exclusives (which the list does), then Rocket League and Distance would be two of my absolute favorites for this year. And he completely missed out on Drawn to Death!
...
30 is a lot of exclusives. I'll leave it at that.
Of course they're going to resell the game with DLC. Pretty much every major game ever gets some sort of re-release. Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind, Fallout 3, Call of Duty 4, Red Dead Redemption, The Last of Us, LittleBigPlanet. GTAIV had a "complete edition", and every game seems to be re-released on PS4 and Xbox One these days.
Also, I don't think the new edition will include any of the exclusive pre-order content, right?
Haha, fantastic! I suddenly got an urge to buy Sunset Overdrive.
Haha, right?
Rape sure is fun.
It's very difficult to counter more sophisticated forms of DDoS. The simplest SYN floods can be avoided with ease (by inspecting and storing information about each session), but the attackers are probably quite good at making their illegitimate traffic appear legitimate to the servers.
Wooo! It's finally back for me. It's working well, too.
Dick. Even joking about that isn't cool. We don't. Negotiate. With. Terrorists. Comma.
And I'm not sure why you thought he had such a problem with this article. He just said he thought it'd show up sooner or later. I agree. I'm kind of surprised it hasn't. It's both useful and interesting to put them head-to-head.
80! That's less than 90! Thank god it's more than 70, though.
But what if it wasn't?
Well said! Sites should be voted down for this.
"Driveclub is officially the first disappointing PS4 exclusive."
but you wrote
"Ultimately, Knack disappointed with shallow gameplay and story."
Other than that, I thought Driveclub was awesome. Launch was disappointing, but it's great now.
Also, worst games? That's a bit extreme, given some of the games that have been released for the console.
Jesus Christ, talk about an overreaction.
A quick question, would you really have reacted the same way if the article was titled "Grand Theft Auto Long Overdue for a Chicago-setting"?
People tell developers what they want all the time. Nevermind the millions of people who said that they wanted GTAV to be in San Andreas, before it was announced that that was actually going to happen, people request everything from characters to location and themes. ...
"well, for a low price I would buy it. But only play FFXIII and nothing more."
That'll show 'em!
We'll get the open world FF games back with FXV, I think :)
500$ donation would make you supreme leader of North Korea.
I love information security-themed jokes that allude to rape!
Are there any other jokes like that we can make? Maybe something about Lizard Squad being the man in the middle in a Man in the Middle attack, prison-style?
Oh, wait. No there isn't. Because we're not awful people. It's good that they're getting caught though.
