Neo is such garbage. It truly is a mid gen upgrade which is being put out essentially for no other reason than to push VR. The PlayStation 4 is the market leader with over 40 million units sold. Why on earth would they push the NEO? Sony could have easily waited until 2018-2019 to launch the true successor to the PS4 instead of this weak upgrade. I suppose Sony knows people will line up for Neo and will jump right onto PS5 when it launches 2 years after the NEO. How to sell 3 consoles in one ...
What does it matter if the Scorpio is Xbox 2, NEXT, Neo Killer etc etc....it's a significant upgrade to Xbox One.
It's launching this year. How do you suggest they make all these changes in less than 3-4 months?
As if Microsoft couldn't bump up specs with over a year til launch.
How about 2k/60?
It's akin to saying toasters won the appliance war.
Multiplats sell consoles
And none of those exclusives work on PlayStation
Sony - Brits who voted for Britext. Racists. Isolationists. Buy only PlayStation. Stay only PlayStation.
Microsoft - keep calm and spread the love. Here's a game for you console lover and one for you too PC brethren. We love you all.
@NewMonday
It'll still be a monster compared to that Neo trash, Sony has you guys lubing up for.
I wonder if they plan on launching PS5 IN 2018...just in time for NEO purchasers to feel like they wasted money on a crappy mid cycle upgrade?
Seems like the best comparison is a lot of FLOPS vs not enough FLOPS.
Nigel Farage is just the UK version of Donald Trump. Both are racist idiots.
How would it compete with the Xbox One S? There goes the Sony fan logic. Xbox One S is just a slim upgrade to the Xbox One. It isn't anymore powerful. The Neo will compete with the Scorpio.
Seems like it's two less reasons to get a weak ass Neo if the Scorpio is coming out next year.
Of course he was that's why he disagreed. He is easily confused by simple things.
How is this any different than anything else. You buy what you can afford. If you don't care about all the bells and whistles then get a bare bones Xbox One for $279 or less, if you need more power get the Scorpio.
Do you see everyone using iPhones and driving Mercedes?
It was a glimpse into the future, you know like how Sony does with games except the Scorpio is a little over a year away compared to the years it takes Sony to launch games after they announce them.
Doesn't make sense at all. I guess the analysts missed the devices part in Microsoft's devices, services, and cloud strategy. They aren't abandoning Xbox or hardware. They didn't abandon Surface and look how well that has taken off.
