Intel 486
They'd need a new chipset to go to 5.5 TFLOPS.i highly doubt it especially if it's coming this year.
6 TFLOPS And 320 GB/S memory bandwidth are confirmed and Sony can't match it.
At least Microsoft is a little more realistic with their titles than Sony. I mean Ff7, Shenmue, God of War etc...doubt we see those until late 2017 to early 2018.
Forza and Forza Horizon are not the same.
@WelkinCole
It being on PC is irrelevant if you are a console gamer. You also need a fairly powerful PC to run Quantum Break.
What is relevant is that the game is unplayable in any form on PlayStation 4.
How is he not?
Price per performance you might get a really great deal versus a similarly spec PC. I think gamers are smart enough to choose what fits their situation and budget.
Only thing I don't like is the generic white guy character
PS4 VR obviously requires downgrades to achieve decent quality.
PS5 will most likely launch in 2019-20. I don't see the immediate need to buy a NEO unless you really need VR. Playstation 4 has enough power to last another 3-4 years. But if you want a PS4 and don't already have one I suppose you could buy a NEO and just wait for every .5 update.
$449...are you getting that from the same source that you claim doesn't have NEO specs?
It may not be a panacea but last I checked Sony has nothing like UWP.
Sony is going for the tic toc model like the Iphone/iPhone S.
PS4 - 2013
PS4.5 - 2016
PS5 - 2019
PS5.5 - 2022
Microsoft is going with a Tic tic model but a slim revision in the 3rd year
Xbox One - 2013
XBOX One Slim - 2016
Xbox Scorpio (Xbox 2) - 2017
XBOX Scorpio (Xbox 2) Slim - 2020
XBOX Gemini (Xbox 3) - 2021
Microsoft is in the business of providing software and hardware. Wishful thinking at best.
I think their overall goal was more complex than destroy PlayStation.
If the Scorpio is desperate the NEO most certainly is a blatant cash grab. The PS5 will launch 2 years after NEO.
You can also build a Neo.
It's exclusive if it's not on another device regardless of how long the time frame is.
