Risky business.
Developers already have to make a choice as to how many platforms they can support based off of the planned budget.
Then there is post patching support and potential dlc creation, also depending on the sdk's similarities or differences we may end up with a hot mess of poorly ported titles.
I loves Sega and Atari but I don't know if I would want 5 consoles connected to my TV to be able to experience all the 'exclusives&...
lol
and I don't need the lost legacy, so its all good.
It's ok, there is plenty of time to work it out.
Don't strain yourself.
Dear oh dear,
Is there a bet between Xbox and Sony for who can say the most stupid thing?
They are both winning.
Villain? lol, bit harsh.
Awesome!
This should be fun. Can't wait to see how they plan to become relevant in this saturated market.
A modular console maybe.
I wonder what unique experiences they are planning, if any.
The inevitable will happen when the X launches.
A pc will be built to match the exact fidelity and then we will have a price.
Who cares how much it would cost to build a pc to do it now because neither the game nor console is out to verify anything tangible.
Come Nov 7th we can hopefully put this yoyo'ing pc equivalent pricing to rest. Till then it's all hyperbole.
Oh no, not tweet-icles again.
This is not journalism.
Maybe we should just have an RSS feed for tweets from major figures in the industry instead of having them posted as articles?
Could be on the home page.
It is a bit poo.
I look forward to the true stories, coming straight from the devs.
Thanks for the heads up though Aaron, good to know.
Duh... I fink da moz expenskiv one is da better wun.
Wiv dem true pixels innit.
Derp
Forbes at it again.
Haha, nice!
Uh huh!
Masterful!
Well, that ending can't be left like that so hell yeah!
Bring it on!!!
Industry and education.
Considering the price, its a bit expensive as a toy.
Sorry Phil, not with you on this one.
It's works, could always be better, but it works.
Now you Don't want to be in the party after claiming this would be the place for, some mumbo jumbo about true VR, now you are talking outta your arse.
This^
Gud.
The online component is something about a tower take down. Two teams two towers in a cityscape. First team to bring the others down wins. It's apparently a finite space but with full cloud based destruction using cloudgine.
I'm looking forward to more info.
