Have you never had a conversation with someone about a game and want to play it together only to find out you own different tech but the same game?
It's happened to me loads of times. This would negate that conversation completely but still allow for brand loyalty if it is that important to people.
Also I would think that lobbies of PS VS. Xbox VS. PC VS. NITTY would be awesome. Settle the score on the battlefield, over and over again. Haha!

I know, but they may rework the pricing structure and distribution model of PSNow to be able to closer reflect the 'backward compatibility' feature being so eagerly paraded.
I can see how it would be wise for many gamers to wait this one out if their setup is already geared towards the 4k revolution.

I don't know about winning but it was fun for the most part for me.
Ashen, Anthem, Crackdown and Sea of thieves really got me excited, also the 4k support and OG Xbox BackCompat.
Gave me enough of a reason to get one.
Ubisoft was fun in Places.
Sony was wavy, some good some ok, but ended really strong.
Nintendo hit a home run. Short and sweet.
But thats just like my opinion man.
It has certainly separated itself from the majority.
This will be an informed purchase, not an impulse buy for most people.
It's not a decision set in stone.
Hopefully over time and with enough bad press and pressure they may reconsider... Maybe.

I gotta say, now the dust is starting to settle a bit, things are looking quite good for the XO1X in some regards. Price is still a bit of a stinger though, hope there is some form of game bundle or something.

Im glad that its not forever but it's still terrible regarding a year exclusive for content.
I didn't like it when Xbox did it, didn't like it with timed DLC. I HATE console exclusive characters and skins, also retailer specials with broken off content.
