Subscription services and specifically gamepass allow players to try a huge selection of games before they buy. I'm collector so I will always buy the games I consider gems. So many games are not worth their purchase price and gamepass has allowed me to save so much cash on games that I would have considered a waste of money after purchase and also try many more I wouldn't buy but would like to try. It has been a win win situation for me so no complaints here.

PlayStations new business model for the new generation is simply a less consumer friendly and out of touch when compared to what Xbox are now offering. On its own, there is really nothing wrong with what ps5 is doing or offering. But, when you compare it to what xbox is doing and also take the worlds hurting economy and bleak short/long term future into consideration, the PlayStation business model only serves them and their bottom line.

Got mine from Amazon at 8.15am. Absolute nightmare, kept crashing, then after multiple refreshes it worked. Tried at xbox store got to checkout and it crashed, then wouldn't let me add it again saying I had reached my maximum order amount... useless, but very happy I got one.
Nailed mine on Amazon UK. Didnt show till 8.10am. Then the link kept crashing the site. Finally worked at 8.15 placed the order then the page crashed. Got confirmation by email. Page won't load now. Also tried xbox store, added to cart, on checkout it crashed and then it said I had reached my maximum order number and couldn't add it to my basket after that. So glad I got the email from Amazon confirming the order, Phew! Now the wait begins...
