I agree with most of what you say. But I do believe it is Ubisofts fault for facilitating this stupid notion that gamers would be upset. Bottom line this new generation of console is not going to last very long when PC's are going to totally destroy the PS4 and X1 in the coming years.

The funniest thing about this whole thing is that I thought Sony were going to be doing backward compatibility, so that I could somehow use the 100+ ps2 and ps3 games I own through some system on the ps4, but all we are getting is reasons to spend more money on games most of us already own.
This is not backward compatibility, its backward thinking. If this is backwards compatibility then why cant I play all the games in my playstation library that I own without having to pay ...
