The press overhype a game to a point where the whole world is sick of seeing news and claims about a game which is then regurgitated by said press 100-fold. Only for the press to turn around and claim a lack of success because it was over hyped.
Yes, bungie and activision made some bold claims but it was the press that fixated on those words and started the hype train. And now... wah wah wah...

Chris, there comes a time when we need to grow a back bone and make decisions for ourselves. Destiny is such a call. With such a unique game its hard to gain perception based on other opinions as this is a new experience for consoles. Try it if your a fan of fps's or mmo's. Its a mixture of the both. Buy it, play it. If you don't like it, trade it in for a small loss.

What I find is the biggest annoyance is when a game sets itself up for co-op play, expecting gamers to play a certain way to enjoy the story. But more often than not people are paired up with morons who just do what they want and ruin the experience for others.
I'm more of a story guy, I prefer a decent single player story over multi player mayhem any day of the week. But a good co-op would be the holy grail for me.

I like Kinect for the integration and navigation stuff but I personally want to be able to use it for more than just talking to my tv. Its been long enough me thinks... Time to get some games to showcase Kinect!
