In a way I agree with you foxtrot. I was talking about this to some guys at work, Halo is a weird game that caters for the FPS junkies who care more about guns and explosions and for the thinking man. The problem is, if you want the story, they make it damn hard to follow in the game. Halo 4 terminals gave so much of the story that had I not spent hours looking for them I would not have had a clue as to what is going on with the story. But with the terminals... Wow! Pc game ported to ps4 &X1. Not developed for console. PS4 has advantage in this area. Their focus is PS4 as lead console platform for the port not X1, naughty dog collaboration should make this obvious to anyone with a brain cell.
wolfenstien is a prime example of what a multiplat dev can do with some skill. And the 1080p was achieved prior to the June sdk. Yes there are still minor differences but not as large as this diablo divide.

I'd love to see a custom xbox one master chief edition with a silent cartographer (Guilty Spark) style Kinect and a unsc style controller (similar to the one with ODST Special edition). Knowing that the Xbox one is the home for Halo, it only seems fitting to make a Halo inspired console... Actually, now thinking about it, they will probably do it for Halo 5.
Either way, this Christmas is going to be spent playing a hell-a-lot-a-games!
