I wondered how long this was going to take. Thought it was a bit insensitive and stupid in the first place, however it was the only one I was interested in playing. Shame really.
Was really looking forward to the game. Needless to say I’m not anymore. Absolute garbage! Embarrassingly shameful behaviour from Blizzard!
Its all of the above. It's full of bugs and the laziest attempt of a remaster there's ever been.
Basically they've spent as little time as possible getting the game code to actually run. Then about an hour in total updating some textures. That's about it. In fact I'd say it's taken them longer to actually remove things from the game than it has to essentially port it.
its garbage, save your money until its at very least half price. Which prob wont be long given the state of it and how lazy the developers are.
Such a waste of an opportunity.
Seems like this is the latest shady cash-in technique by devs. Same things happened with Commandos 2 HD remaster

Great game but I wish they would add a free look button that I could assign to my mouse thumb button on PC. Hate having to use a combination of WSAD and arrow keys to move around in these kind of games.
The developers official response is that they are only willing to release 1 copy of the game worldwide. Because they don't want to have to go through all the localisation process for each region.

It’s not only that at all! There is a lot cut out from the original game. Even stupid stuff like being able to zoom out of the map. Then there’s animations and graphics issues. Then on top of that apparently several game breaking bugs.
If you actually read the reviews, the most commonly repeated statement is that it’s the most laziest remaster people have ever encountered.
What a load of shite! PCs thriving more than ever and everything that’s going on in the industry proves that unquestionably. Epic store hasn’t stopped sales at all other than giving away free indy games. Which seems to be really winding people up the wrong way.
Looking forward to this. Fell back in love with this game after the definitive editions launched. Ended up buying it on windows store and then again, again through steam for the third time. This B one looks amazing!
All the user reviews are currently absolutely slating it saying it’s somehow managed to release in a state worse than the beta.
Almost had this on pre-order and I want to buy it but it sounds like a broken mess at the moment and a shell of the original game with so much of it striped out!
I’m saving my money on this one and not buying it till it’s actually worth it.

Great game at the time, still have the cd somewhere. Not sure how well it would have aged tho. That’s not helped by how cheap of a remaster this is. As all it seems to be is a filter overlay with brighter contrast and vibrancy and that’s about it. Another really shoddy piece of work by 3D Realms. What happened to these guys, where did it go so wrong!?
Whatever happened to the C&C remake collection that was announced?
...saying that, with the state of the latest Warcraft Reforged and Commandos 2 HD. I don’t think I’m interested anymore. Which is a shame.
