So after testing it, it does actually send an Atmos signal to the receiver/soundbar now. Instead of just reporting it as Dolby it now shows as Atmos and the sound does completely envelope you. Fired up CyberPunk just to see how it felt these days and thought it might be a good test of the sound. Just went to the church where they sink you into the ice bath to jack you in to Johnnys braindance. The echoing chamber of being inside the system sounded immense. I never been their previously so I c...
I bought this game in early access years ago and played it for about 10 minutes before uninstalling it. I never requested a refund but never played it again. I have heard it’s come on a bit since those days and I’ve always considered one day I would reinstall it just to check it out again but I haven’t… yet.
I’d never even considered going into reader mode. It works a treat. Thanks.
Sorry, any website that makes it as intentionally difficult as possible to reject personal data collection immediately gets shutdown. I’ll get the information elsewhere.
Just bring it to PSVR2 already…. Please!
The thing I’m interested in is the Dolby Atmos support. I don't really understand it though as surely it’s processed at the soundbar/home theatre system end.
I have the Samsung Q990B and like any AV system the signal is processed onboard. This just make the original output source data clearer?
Had the update but haven’t had the time to try it yet.
Fair point.
People never listened when I said that this game doesn’t use “real” ray tracing on PS5. I believe it uses a very clever advanced/modified screen space reflection system. Which is why the real ray tracing doesn’t work on pc.
Considering this game was built from the ground up with ray tracing on AMD hardware. My rants a few years ago that insomniac never actually used true ray tracing but clever alternative to screen space reflection fake trickery. Don’t seem so crazy now do they!
I’ve had this, there is a fix available online but sorry I can’t remember it. I’ve had it happen twice. I do remember the 2nd time was a little bit easier to fix. Whether that’s because I remembered it or whether at least some of the bug had been fixed. The last time it happened was probably a good 2 years ago so I just can’t remember now. Sorry.
I guarantee it will all be like this within the next 10 years. Inactivity will be deemed a sufficient excuse to close accounts and the expectation will be that you’ve lost your “game (loan) licence / server space allocation license” and you will need to repurchase a license to continue playing…. And you suckers will lap it up!!
I’m surprised it’s took this long for blizzard to be called out on how malicious their tactics are. They’re genuinely deceitful with intention to fool or manipulate people. They’re not very clever with it but are just so open about it. Weird that they get away with it.
It’s funny how we hear this from EA, Ubisoft, now Activision. Yet, all install their malware DRM and launchers because piracy is such a massive issue on the platform.
Time and time again they make the most money from that platform yet they have to monitor our software because apparently they don’t make any money due to piracy. Which one is it?
I mean the guy obviously isn’t mentally stable and clearly not right in the head. Half a million seems a ridiculous fine to serve. I think a better judge would have served forced mental councilling or even some time spent in an institution.
Why we’re still surprised by these tactics are beyond me at this point. It’s the same every time!
No. That's way too much. Why is it every developer wants to crush their own IP's. Run them into the ground until people are put off by the name of them. Naughty Dog did this with Uncharted too. Which was a great series and now even the name of it makes me cringe.
Was really looking forward to this as it really is an area that is largely ignored unless it’s done in a comedic style.
I’ve heard it feels like it’s incredibly unfinished.
Genuine question… How is my take weird but yours is not!?
You’ve based the cost of an item on your hours of entertainment which is subjective to everyone yet price remains the same for everyone. So in your theory it would be perfectly acceptable to charge say, £500 for Tetris or Super Mario considering they must be the most played games of all time and have lasted decades.
People are being coerced into believing that the cost of making a product is ...
I’m not a die hard Diablo fan but I think it’s a great game. Really addictive. Hate Blizzard as a company though. They’re underhanded sly tactics to block and monetise under false pretences are the worst in the industry and really didn’t want to give them money but I was having a bit of a stale gaming period. Not really enjoying any of the games I was playing and really wanted to go back to this style of gaming. So gave up, used multiple hacks and codes to get about £25 quid off. Like an...
Let me guess…. “It’s going to be groundbreaking, unlike anything anyone has ever experienced before. We’ll see the world of gaming change and experienced in new ways that have never been even imagined. That will change the industry forever”….. blah, blah blah…… something along those lines.
That’s usually how it goes isn’t it!?
