Why people relentlessly stick with this “just see what this next project brings” attitude with Rockstar is beyond me.
How much crap do they really have to release before you realise they truly are just a garbage developer now. They’re not who they once were. Let’s just get over it. Let them burn themselves out and disappear. We’ll all be better for it.

No it’s not. A lot of us come from an era where we built our own fully fledged expansion packs for games and released them on forums. Purely on the basis of we wanted other people to play them and have fun with them. With not a single thought of charging a penny for them. The highest accolade would be getting them listed in the highest ranked list. No one stole them, no one sold them.
You could easily pick up brand new (complete) games between £15-£30 as well.
So good that Ive never heard of them.

That suit looks amazing. We really do need a proper new valve game. They were front runners on creative innovative technology. That actually made a difference.
Playing HL2 for the first time and witnessing the animation and physics was literally stunning.

I’m currently running a 2070 super (albeit I’ve overclocked it) but I run every game maxed out at 1440p. So how does that work…?

The malware used to run it would also have to run for several days if not weeks without power being switched off and with noticeable degradation in performance of machine while it leaked from RAM.
These issues and articles seem more like “opportunities” to scare people into unnecessary future upgrades.
This is why I don’t understand people that still have any faith in GTA6 or any future Rockstar products.
All the original team left and everything they’ve release since, along with their support, has been a hot garbage, dumpster fire.
I’m not particularly interested in the game itself so paid very little attention to the build up but I’m tempted to buy it now and give it a try purely on the basis that it’s a full product with absolutely no mtx just like the good old days. I think that’s probably worth supporting.
Nonsense. It’s just been released long enough now that the hype has gone and people now know that ignoring the hype the games not one of the series’s best.

I always have the intention of completing it first before starting again with coop in mind but never end up completing them because,…well, life gets in the way.
@iretro it was in their presentation where they talked about how their plan was to release an app or 3d modelling device for scanning your ear so you could create your own personal ear profile that could follow you with all your devices. They said the tempest engine would essentially allow more bandwidth to allow more synchronous instruments to be played however that’s where it got all marketing BS as you would never need and no one would ever produce that many. @pete is right. Sony acknowledged it themselves. They didn’t want to pay royalties/license fees to another company they wanted to create their own as they thought this may also be beneficial to their position in the movie industry too. Then there’s their tv and hifi departments…

Also it’s not built into everything. It has a standard processing synthetic up mix. Developers still need to create their own profile for every game independently. If they want a bespoke soundstage.
