Digital foundry newest podcast talks a lot about it and it’s not great listening. There doesn’t appear to be any added streaming techniques being used at all. It’s just the basic low bitrate remote play. Which is pretty crazy considering the price of the thing. Lag is very much a by-product of the system infrastructure as well as what ever your own network is capable of.
I give it 6 months before these are selling for around £80

I think it’s quite clear that their subscriptions are dropping. It’s all ready been spoke about publicly and you can quite clearly see unrest in their customer base who have not been happy for a while now.
It was proven during the PSVR2 release that they’re happy to make up numbers and stock shortages in order to try and pressure sales.

Usual price £309. But you will usually find an offer with a game bundled in for free whereas with the new price drop there’s no free game bundles. So it’s just a marketing ploy to fool people that will fall for it (which unfortunately is me because my daughter is getting one for Christmas)

I have an Oculas Go, PSVR 1 and PSVR 2. What I’m sayings not difficult to understand. Standalone games are built as just games first and foremost then VR is an extension of that. The problem is those other games are built as “vr experiences” first. Gameplay is secondary to that. For example horizon being a climbing simulator, or Humanity just being a crap game. Synapse being the usual, shoot, duck, move to next cover location formula. There not in the same league as the “proper games” because...

The difference being that GT7 and RE8 are both standalone games. All the others listed are the reason the industry fails. They’re designed for shallow VR experiences and not made for the sake of stellar gameplay experiences. What makes it actually worse is people giving them a pass as that’s what makes the industry go backwards.

The only reason I buy premium is the game trials. Have absolutely no interest in its other offerings. Whether it’s worth it tho I’m still not completely decided.
