They tried to be the good guys. But when everyone else is gauging the prices up and getting away with it, they were always going to follow suit in the end. This is always what happens when people don’t stand up for themselves. You would think we’d understand this by now. Not in just the gaming industry but in every industry.
Have the game on PC and have played about 2 hours of it. Seem to remember it came out at a very busy time for game releases. Always wanted to go back to it but never have. Always feel like it needs me to put aside a large amount of time which I just don’t have anymore these days.
I’d love to be able to play/complete my games. People need to get it out of their heads that it’s a length or quality issue. It’s a time issue. Life is much different now than it used to be. People used to be able to have a life outside of work. That’s just not possible anymore, free time is a pipe dream to most people.
Developers would love to charge you for shorter games. Don’t let them push that agenda.
Apparently I’ve heard the anti-cheat DRM behaves more like a Rootkit. Which is staggering considering how much trouble Sony got into previously with trying to hide rootkits in their media. Which I’m old enough to still remember.
??? I’ve been playing the demo on the switch with my daughter for a couple of weeks now.
It’s actually pretty good….i went to buy her it thinking it would be no more than £15 maybe £20 at a push… £50 is beyond an absolute joke though! I laughed my ass off at the price and told her she wasn’t getting it. That’s an intentional pricing move to take advantage of kids.
I’ve literally just noticed that “Sony Pictures Core” PS+ movie selection has been updated and there was a FF film added. Is it this one? I’ve switched it off now so can’t be bothered to go back and check.
I’ve watched one of the FF films in the past and it was actually pretty good.
“Influencers” are a cancer to not only the industry but society as a whole. They should all climb back under the rock they came from.
The people who created their position should be ashamed of themselves and share the blame.
If you’re trying to tell me servers for a game are costing you 6 million. I’m going to tell you you’re a fking liar!
I hope so. Might give me a reason to dig out the PSVR2.
Scoring this an 8 or a 7 does nothing but prove how ridiculous peoples ideas of a 1-10 rating scale are..
Is this really anything to get excited about? MGS5 was an absolute cluster f...
*edit* wrong post.
I’m so confused by this. Am I confusing 2 different games?
All I’m seeing at the moment is articles saying it’s been an absolute car crash. Then loads of articles saying it’s amazing 9/10.
How can the game be an absolute broken car crash that was even shut down by the developers. But then the usual IGN and the like saying it’s “the game we all wished it would be” it’s brilliant??
No way, The Quarry wasn’t a game, the fact that you can just sit and watch without lifting a finger tells you everything you need to know. As a game it was worthless to me. Their worst game yet, which was a real shame because my hopes were so high for it.
Supermassive best game but I’ve double dippped on this one already. I’m not about to dive in again.
/s in case anyone didn’t quite pick it up..
It’s crap, couldn’t even get myself to complete the 45 min trial before deleting it.
Amen brother. RIP.
My understanding of Sonys background behaviour regarding PSVR2 is not only are they not providing any funding or help for any VR projects. They also seem to be being intentionally difficult with developers regarding the subject and certification etc..
Not really, just the same as calling English people “Brits”. In fact it’s a more “correct “ terminology.
I’ve actually never in my life heard the term “Jap” used in a derogatory manner.
