Agreed, possibly my favourite game of last gen.
Stunning game when it released on PS4 but developer SuperMassive has done nothing but slowly ruin their reputation since with each new release. I used to be a fanboy of theirs, but slowly dwindled, all their ps5 releases have been garbage. The Quarry was the only game I was willing to pay new PS5 game prices for. I massively regret it. So I’ll make a hard pass on this!

It’s for currently subbed and un-subbed accounts. There is no stipulations, it appears to be completely random and some members are getting different discounts. Some are getting 25% some are getting 33%.
I’m a premium subscriber that ran out in November and I haven’t been offered anything. So I’m not resubscribing at all.
Almost everything in this article is wrong. It’s not US only. It’s not current active subscribers only either. It does however seem to be completely random and Sony does seem to appear to be requesting media outlets who report this to remove it from their websites (Eurogamer etc..). I assume as there’s no stipulations as to why they’re treating some customers differently to others. I guess it opens them up to discrimination legal disputes.

It’s funny how DF did a graphical analysis and found that there was pretty much no discernible difference at all to the game. Yet it’s never made its way to N4G…. Strange that.

No. They publicly announced if you owned the previous game they would charge £10 for the new version. Then they opened the game up to pre-orders but allowed no option for which version of the purchase you were making. Making themselves wide open for legal action against them.

What are you guys talking about!? PS+ has been seen widely by the vast majority as being very poor since the price increase. Take a look at their official blog or any PS+ thread, to see that a good 90% has been people complaining about how bad it has been since the price increase.

Seems to be US by the looks of it, can’t see any mention of it in UK and certainly don’t remember seeing anything advertised on the store about it.
And it’ll be shutdown by take-two before it’s complete. They will know this already but as long as they’ve received enough donations before hand they’ll be happy enough.
Last one they had was Black Friday. They didn’t have any in December. The first year they haven’t had one in December.
It was working fine up until the release of Alan wake 2 haven’t had points since I bought that game.
I’ve noticed a distinct lack in any reduction to PS+ subs this holiday season. Sony trying to force customers hands into paying the fully inflated price.
This is the longest I’ve ever been a non PS+ subscriber since it began. I won’t be the only one. Protest with your wallet or they will keep shafting the consumer!
You can’t even watch 3D videos on it. I mean seriously it’s a VR headset and it can’t watch VR movies!
It sounds more and more stupid each time I even hear myself say it. Imagine designing it that way! It’s absolutely insane that something that basic is missing. That’s VR 101, literally every other headset starts with that basic function. PSVR2 STILL can’t even do that!
As a launch day owner in its current state it’s not worth it unfortunately. Almost a year later and it’s still missing even the most very basic of features. And it seems to be pretty dead on arrival. It has great promise but as usual it was ditched out the door by Sony.
If Sony aren’t going to support it then why should anyone else. How longs it been released now and it doesn’t even do the basic level functions that literally every single vr machine on the market does!
