It's failing because devs are now lazy & the industry has become more about profit margins than creativity.
There's plenty of live streams already for the game as its been released in France already by the looks of it.
Unfortunately to me it doesn't seem like a return to true survival horror at all it seems like a last gen game built around the fundamentals of a cheesy American teen horror.
It's just another "modern day" resident evil clone. Looks like the gaming community has again been sold a game on false pretences.

They have to be incredibly embarrassed all round. This is the worst example of a professional business I've seen in the industry or in fact any industry.
It's like one of those urban myths about an "unlucky" movie where it was filled from start to finish with colossal incidents & the actors died during filming etc. Kind of like "The Crow". It's become a complete joke!
What?? With the consistent BS from paid reviewers & the insane amount of ridiculous blind fanboyism on the internet how is anyone supposed to know if they like the game without seeing it???
I'm not spoiling anything for myself in fact I'm doing the exact opposite by making an informed decision.
Please by all means don't feel sorry for me at all lol
I was pretty much sold on this game but the more streams I've watched the more repetitive & boring it's looked.
I've been watching a lot of streams of this & Aliens lately & I've been swung much more in the favour of Aliens. Still havnt took the plunge though either way.
What an absolute disaster from start to finish!
Still tempted to pick this up although I still have my doubts that this game just seems like a repetitive slots machine gameplay.
The only real fault with the current FIFA is the ref/fouls. They're fundamentally broken on every level.
Once you understand that it actually plays like real (simulation) football. The goalkeeping, the defence, the pace, they're all edging on to perfect. Although since the day 1 patch they have IMO broken the goalkeeping a little by making them stupid again & because of that it effects the new animations as well.
The fouls are completely broken th...
...Is Driveclub a hard game??
I don't know I haven't played it but I never expected it to be anything more than a general arcade racer...
Considering this or Alien & just can't make my mind up...
Yea there's only a few out so I haven't read many, 3's probably about right.
To be fair the only one I'm really going to trust is Eurogamers review & they gave it a 6/10. So I'll give the PS+ version a go but Eurogamer are pretty spot on with sharing the same opinions as I do, ignoring the stupid bias of most other sites.
The reviews out so far have all given the opinion of how I felt about the MotorStorm series in general. A good concept but too scared & not enough physical skill to fulfil their dream.
I wanted Driveclub to be awesome & the first proper social racer but it looks like it's failed from every review I've read so far :-(
Those graphics are horrific for next-gen. They're so bad it's actually quite funny!
What about Wolfenstein?
Clocks in at 54Gb on PS4. Not 48Gb as the article says...
I agree with you Sinister. If your not grown up enough to play the game properly without cheating then that's fine but don't then act as if it's not cheating because that just makes you look retarded aswell as just stupid.
Tidux has never been right before unless the information was slipped by official reps on the playstation blog. That's fact not opinion so stop with the spreading of BS!!
Everything else he "leaks" is completely unspecific, vague & common sense.
Online has been around for decades & wasn't a problem at all until COD & Activision got involved in the console space. Console gamers accepted it & called PC gamers cry babies for for making such a fuss.
...and here we are now with Activision still trying to test how far they can push console gamers & get away with it.
I'm really not into the cheesy American "Teen Horror" scene. I'm not even really sure you can class them as horror these days as you spend the majority of the time feeling embarrassed rather than scared.
It kind of spoils the whole point of horror when the can't ignore the stupidity of the content.
I watched the 10 minute gameplay video earlier today. I have to say the scariest part of the whole thing was the acting & voiceover work. It was so cringe worthy it was horrible.
Went from being a game I couldn't wait for, to a game that's no longer even on my radar.
Only Twitch has been shutting down streams, UStream hasn't until the last hour or so. They've been up for a couple of days. Seen about 30 mins of gameplay from various parts of the game.
From what I've seen of it I came away feeling it was incredibly cheesy with terrible AI & cheap predictable scares if you can call them that.
