It's taken an embarrassingly long time for sony to get their act together on this but this update is a very good start. They just need to still add the promised launch feature of suspend/resume. Then video playback & some simple UI organisation & I think everyone would be happy.
Creative Assembly can certainly take a bow for the dedication they put into Alien Isolation.
The majority of the current industry's developers should take note of how to do a proper job & not shove out lazy half-assed crap & expect(demand) praise!
It's not scary or one of the best horror games AT ALL BY ANY STRETCH OF THE IMAGINATION!! - I can't stress that enough. It's the ultimate cheesefest. Its more comedy half the time than horror, it's just silly.

Heard this statement so many times this gen & it's never been even remotely true on any single occasion. So I'm not bothered about what statements are made until I actually see something.
Even then, going from this gen we would be lucky to get what we're even shown as "true real-time footage".
If that's true then it should be made public & both companies should be held accountable for an acceptable legal explanation as to why they're trying to force detrimental decisions on a company they have no legally binding affiliation with.
Surely this in legal terms is unquestionably pushing on bribery.
I've been holding off due to the mixed reviews but picked it up the other day & it really is a great game. One of the few better games of this year.
I find it hard to believe that people are being genuine with their scores & not letting their love of the TLOTR theme add a few unnecessary points to this game.
I picked up Shadow of Mordor, Alien Isolation & The Evil Within this week. Alien Isolation being the best of the bunch, hands down!
To be fair I'm really disappointed with both SoM & TEW. For me Alien would get an 8.5/10, SoM a 7/10 & TEW a 6.5/10. SoM is certainly not GOTY materia...

This game is in no way "Old School" in a good way. It uses old mechanics yes, but in a very lazy & poor way. You can be old school & still update voice acting to an acceptable level. Why does old school have to have poor AI & animations? It doesn't, its just not a great game.
Wolfenstien New Order managed to be old school just fine without having to make every mechanic in the game dumbed down.

We won't get any legitimate compensation so I wouldn't get to excited it'll just be the possibility of content that was stripped out of the game for future DLC or stuff that they've already let slip that was due to be free anyway.
There's no doubt the Xbone will be selling better due to the consistent release of improved firmwares & what looks like the first must have game in Forza Horizon 2 BUT 2 words make this article completely irrelevant.

Those 2 words alone voids anything & everything related to it.
Certain parts (PS+, PSN Store, What's New Page) have been up & down for the past 3 or so hours from what I've played. Certain other parts have remained fine the whole time (Trophies, Friends Online, etc).
Sometimes I can play online sometimes it says I don't have PS+ like people have said above.
I find it amazing that showing criticism has all of a sudden become something that we should be ashamed of doing. Although companies are progressively treating their customers worse & worse demanding more & more from us yet the customer is no longer allowed to demand more from them & indeed gets less & less.

After laughing my ass off at how bad & disjointed the voice acting was along with the retro animations. I spent 10 minutes watching the undead run against a 2ft high fence repeatedly unable to step over it, walk around it or even stop running into the thing at all. The game is hilarious.
Unfortunately the game is awful we were all lied to. Terrible AI, horrendous voice acting, ridiculous texture popin & again it's all explosions/action & no horror.
It's an absolute joke that they claimed it was the rebirth of survival horror. It's the cheesiest game on the new gen so far. If your expecting next gen your going to be very disappointed.
Yes the paid version is available the free version is still not available. A simple clear indication of persuasive blind buying technique that's all.
