It's going to be epic, cant wait!
You are exactly my point!
That same guy could do that exact same thing (..& many have) without ever playing a game or even watching a film in their entire life.
Trying to make a connection of violence through a single encounter is exactly the stupidity I am talking about. The stupidity of not understanding that any media whether it be music, film or games in the space of history is minute compared to the infinite history of violence which shows just how u...
GRRR!!! I wish everyone would stop trying to force an emotional attachment to this game!
It's just a game so with this type of game there is absolutely no need to attach an emotional response to it. To try & force an agenda that this is healthy OR sick is just ridiculous.
There's plenty of games that do a brilliant job of creating an emotional response does this honestly look like one of them?
It's just this stupid Belieber so...
Can't wait to see gameplay of this, really looking forward to it!
What a stupid article! No one wants new IP's to fail in fact the exact opposite we want more of them. It's just devs now believe they can use the term "new IP" to make incredibly lazy design decisions & get away with it.
I'm gutted it hasn't been long at all since I bought my 760. Think I bought it not long before the PS4 released - so about a year.
I'll give it a go & see how it performs but no doubt I'll need to start looking at the 900 series soon.
Have to admit I wasn't expecting the remaster to be full retail price £55/$90.
It's definitely made me reconsider if I am actually going to rebuy it or not.
Completely agree with you there. There's no excuss to not allow you to skip cutscenes if they're not being used to load a level in the background.
Cutscenes drive story, story is extremely important. Look at Destiny, A lot of people complained for that exact reason that there wasn't enough cutscenes therefore wasn't any real progression of story.
I think I understand what you mean about games loosing there fun but it has nothing to do with cutscenes..
That's exactly what they said!
Completely agree @FriedGoat. The DS4 is an awesome pad but quality is terrible!
Gone through 4 in 10 months. 3 worn thumbsticks & 1 had faulty L1 button. All have been replaced free of charge but it's still annoying as hell!
I've just bought an Xbone controller online for my PC about an hour ago. Managed to get a pad including play & charge kit for £32 (had to use my £12 ShopTo points before I lost them at the end of the month).
Really cant be arsed with the whole faff of using my DS4 with installing all the crap to fool drivers & programs that are needed to run in the background. Plus it gives my DS4's another excuse to tear the thumsticks & I'm waiting for a re...
I'm confused, going from the description isn't this new 'DSR' just SuperSampling renamed or am I totally off the mark?
Exactly, well said!
There's a big difference between designing a game to feel old school & designing a lazy old school game.
It does offer a good glimpse of that nostalgic feeling of those great old school games but that is overshadowed by far too many lazy developer decisions.
It's a good game, not a great game, 6/10 is a fair score. I know everyone has their own opinions but I'm struggling to see how you can justify giving the game a 9.5/10 with such bad voice ...
Actually looks like it plays a lot better than the demo did.
It's good to see someone that's actually good at football games playing as well!
After completing it & being confused as to why it had been portrayed so badly on the internet. I went onto Metacritic just out of interest to see what the score was & it's an absolute crime against gaming that this got a Metascore of 60!
I'm actually really looking forward to a sequel.
People want a great story. You're generally always going to get a better story in a linear game because no developer these days is going to put the vast amount of more time, effort & money into the extra effort to make vast branching stories that keep the same quality.
Saying that I'm massively looking forward to The Witcher 3 as they seem to be very aware of this problem & have been talking about it a lot.
Metro as in the level metro from battlefield not the actual game Metro..
Vaas was definitely one of the best characters there has ever been in gaming. From the admittedly very little I've seen of Min, the 2 don't compare, not even remotely close. Min just seems like a bit of an annoying camp flamboyant emo so far. Not found him interested at all, in fact a little off putting so far.
