So out of this 7.9 million subscriptions when are they going to start using the profits on improving PSN - which was the given reason for charging for the service in the first place.
I've had more issues with PSN since paying for it than I ever did when it was a free service!

Well said, it's actually this very website & the people on it that are actually making me fed up with Sony the most. The childish attitudes that seem to have reached embarrassing levels are the reason these companies are now able to get away with it. These current double standards are shameful & the most embarrassing thing is these people don't have the intellect to understand they are damaging it for themselves.

So after publicly assuring & promising there is absolutely no future DLC content on the disc there now happy to claim there is with the explanation it's because of possible slow internet connections. Surely that's illegal seeing how they so publicly explained there wasn't.

1080p locked 30fps all day!
Although 60fps looks fractionally smoother it doesn't make enough difference to warrant reducing overall image quality.
Although I agree with above, consoles released in this day & age should be able to aim & run at stable 1080p 60fps as standard.
Before the start of this generation nobody cared the slightest about fps. Unless it dropped below 30fps or it was for benchmarking it was never mentioned.
They've done a good job with the app. It does a pretty good job of making sure you've got the important common used features easy to get to & very quick to access.

Shit! I've just read this 5 mins after switching my PS4 into rest mode. Tried to switch it back on & it won't work.
When I put it in rest I got a new screen with a pic of PS4 with orange light saying do not remove AC while in rest. Then it made a loud clunk as it switched off. Recently I have been considering picking up an XBone. After sending my 4th Dualshock 4 controller back for replacement again. Then picking up an XBone controller for my PC, I'm not keen on the position of the L1 R1 shoulder buttons but it doesn't half feel a higher quality build by a long distance.

It's simple dodgy business techniques. Offer your customer an unbelievable deal to a subscription service while making it clear you will loose everything if u stop paying. Make the deal look so good that customer initially thinks "why would I ever want to give up this". Once you have them locked in reduce the quality & financial output to the lowest possible level. I've tried it on my 760 & in all honesty it's not making any noticeable difference so I've switched it off & not bothering with it any more.
I game at 1080p as its the highest my monitor will go. I Used this DSR to play a few games at 4k but all it really did was decrease input sensitivity. After a good few retries & several close up inspections it does improve it but the difference is minute going on microscopic. At least on a 22" screen anyway, ...

The timing of the release of this exploit & the fact that its been made public that 2.0 will release on Tuesday for a week now. I think makes it at least pretty obvious that 2.0 blocks this exploit otherwise they would wait a week before releasing.
