How are you getting 40fps on the Nvidia setting with anything lower than an i5???
I would consider I have a gaming rig - i5@4.5ghz, 8gb 1600ddr3, gtx 760. Running Nvidia setting I get about 25fps!
I get about 50-60fps on Ultra settings but Nvidia setting crushes it.
Haven't played it in about 2 months, I should really go back to it.
7 maps isn't all that bad I thought it was 4 for some reason. I still think 10.3gb is huge from what I've seen. The texture resolution & geometry is still well below what I would consider coming from something that size.
I'd like to know what ratio the file size is between game files & sound files?
From what I've seen of gameplay 10.27gb seems a huge amount.
Haha something tells me absolutely no research was done into that. That comment itself just adds more fuel to the damage done.
I was planning on buying it, at one point questioned whether to pre-order it. I don't plan on buying it at all now. Which is perfectly understandable & I would at a guess assume many, many, many people share that opinion.

- Not Better ergonomics - Peoples thumbs are generally in the same position on both hands also L1/R1 shoulder buttons are horribly positioned.

No I don't really 'got it' at all. It's an article supposedly written about & self titled 'mind-blowing' games however it's completely ignoring the 'mind blowing' element...
Of course it's an opinion piece but again the bad journalism here is that it not only lists a variety of standard & in some cases out-right low scoring/acheiving games it doesn't at all explain as to why these are even considered as 'mind blowing'...
Yea I haven't seen much of the game so I wasn't necessarily comparing to other games. My point was really that if you're into PC gaming then that's generally just a standard desktop rig - 8gb ram, i5, 3 year old gfx card.
If you're buying a complete system that's generally the exact spec you would see classed as the most popular all-rounder. If you've built the system yourself then again that setup offers the most bang for your buck. A cheap setup ...
Ive just read it at the bottom of the article. It's a strange one for sure as several different sources have provided what seems like clear proof that that is exactly what it's doing. I'm pretty sure before all this kicked off there was a brief lamens terms explanation of how it would work that seemed to explain just that as well.
I'm not an expert in these matters but if Denuvo does work the way they themselves claim it does by continuously writing small files containing variable keys that constantly change to match The DRM. Then how can it possibly not damage/waste SSD write cycles??
I paid about £40 for all my SNES games.
Those were the days though when we used to get honest reviews & games were the full thing. Working fully out the box with no issues & nothing cut out to be re-sold to you again afterwards.
I really hope the new Gears is groundbreaking, fresh & awesome. Last one I played was GoW2 I think & I do miss the series. Maybe push me into buying an XBone but I really do hate these "news stories" that are just comments from there own or affiliated PR people. It really is mind numbingly stupid!

I only play 64 player conquest but either the maps still aren't big enough or there's too many players. It would be better if you could play conquest size maps but with 32 players instead.
The new Battlefields play nothing like old original Battlefields anymore. It's all designed for the ADD/ADHD generation now all thanks to COD.
I agree 'some' great games but overall the list is very poor almost satirical.

Didn't even realise Last stand was out, downloading it now. Haven't played it in ages because I hate the fact it plays so much like COD these days.
