I got both my roommate's and my Vita for ~$120 each via ebay and craigslist. They were both in like new condition and mine even came with a 16gb card.
That's defiantly the best way to do it, assuming you aren't a dummy when it comes to buying used things.
Edit: A disagree? The only thing I provided were hard facts, not opinions.
"Remote Play ANYWHERE you want!! Good WIFI is the key"
Semi-correct. A somewhat decent upload speed is required for off location remote play. For example I'm home for thanksgiving and my parents have a 1mbps up speed on their net. I drove 30 minutes to the closest gamestop in a mall for the black friday sale last night. I was lucky enough to find access to solid wifi in t...
I'm crossing my fingers for Tearaway.
Ugh. Sony needs to hurry up and create a way to just stick those files directly onto USB drives so I can get the full quality video into my editor.
Is there even a way to download videos off of facebook? Even if that is possible I'm sure there is a lot of compression and a 30fps limit put on the video when it's uploaded.
Not to mention Facebook is literally the last place I want to upload videos, video game videos none the less.
I wish this kind of launch would have been more widespread here in the US.
The midnight launch at my local Gamestop was uber lame. They told you not to be there until around 11:30 and it consisted of 50 people standing in line not saying much and no interaction from the employees. I mean they had freaking laser tag and give aways at game launches like Halo and Gears. I porbably wouldn't have particpated in something like laser tag but that's not my point. It's tha...
^^ It must suck to be a fanboy in general. Really limits your capability to enjoy ALL games.
The PS3 and the 360 have been considered very outdated technology for a while now. I realized this since I had a PC but I'm supprised you haven't realized this yet with the X1 and PS4 out.
Maybe you don't own one so you have yet to see 60fps and 1080p+ in person? Go play something like BF4 on the PS3 then play it on the X1/PS4/PC and tell me that the PS3 w...
@TheFuture
You're right, I kind of did.
"Hey that's fucked up. You shouldn't do that!!! Screw that guy!", which is all said while they are watching the video, therefore giving them money.
I'm sorry, I just don't know if there is anything more considerate to call that other than "stupid".
Also since when does stupid and smart directly relate to morals? In this situation isn't it clea...
@TheFutureIsBlue
Read man, read. I edited in some info above for the people that have trouble with it.
I don't remember ever saying I condoned it or called them a genius. I'm not sure where you are getting that from.
Edit:Jesus christ, can no one on N4G read anything throughly with critical thinking before coming to judgment, you know like a civilized human being?
I clearly stated I was NOT agreeing with it. I was just showing the reason why the people do it that everyone else seems to completley miss.

The irony is that the "pure stupidty" usually falls on the viewers pointing the fingers while they are actually paying them for smashi...
First off Arma is the shiznip and if you have a PC and are even remotley a fan of fps/milsim style games you owe it to yourself to get it, well yesterday.
I've been a PC gamer only with a pretty nice rig for a while now. I had a 360/PS3 but sold them a few years back. I thougth I was over consoles but I guess it's because they were just so outdated.
I grabbed a Vita a few months back and a PS4 on launch day and freaking love both of them. I realized t...
Yup, and I'm counting down the seconds until a similar adapter becomes availabe for the PS4.
I picked up BF4 on the PS4 because of friends. The only think I keep thinking when playing is how bad I need a mouse and keyboard.
@MadMax
Well considering Steam has much larger numbers for their service than microsoft or sony, I would say yes.

Fuck right. I'll definatly be picking that up.
Seriously. I mean a 4gb Vita card? I don't think anybody wants one of those.You can't even install the digital version of Killzone Mercenary on it...
@infected
Correct. It's not meant for current PC gamers. It's meant to bring console gamers into the PC world.
@gamerheadlines
If the main purpouse you would invest in a steam machine (that includes pricey parts like a 780) is to play in the living room then I think you might be doing it wrong.
Steam is now supporting LAN streaming for games. You really only need a crapy PC capable of streaming video for your living r...
Christ, these topics really do need to be barred from N4G.
It's not realy news and it's only purpouse (on N4G) is to create a comment section for fanboys to flame.
You know what? I like video games regardles of the box they are playing on or controller I am holding. period.
"It was also the firm Microsoft tapped to the conceptualize controllers for the Xbox brand"
So they are the ones that thought the original Xbox frisbie controller was a good idea? I don't know if I trust their opinion too much now.
@ Wikkid
5.1+ surround sound passed into headphones doesn't actually matter that much. I figured this out after using a 5.1 headset for the past 4 years. The Tritton ax pros were legit with 4 speakers in each ear and a digital converter box with optical audio in.
Even so over time I realized some stereo headsets with 3.5mm connections sounded much better. I have realized any decent pair of stereo headphones is all you need (unless your a audiophile). It...
FYI you don't mod the controller, you mod the MS proprietary headphone connector (the thing with the mute and volume controls).
Yout unscrew 5 screws and solder 4 cables to the board. It's really not that bad.
Although I do agree it's a shame they didn't go the PS4 route with chat and audio available via a 3.5mm jack in the controller.
BF4 on PS4 for $20? Where was that? I picked it up for $25 on the PC and know that a lot of places are selling the 360/PS3/PC versions close to this price.
The best I have seen X1/PS4 versions is $50.
