agreed, everything about COD Modern Warfare was right. i remember when they first showed this off at E3 and i was blown away by the sniper level demoed on stage. it truly is sad what's become of a current generation defining game. in a way seeing COD MW3 and COD BO2, it's seems as if this generation of consoles has come full circle and its time to move on.
that box art looks horrendous, no way that is the box art lol.
cool
kind of an ugly color pallet compared to how it first looked
i think some people are missing the point that this could simply mean incorporating more meaningful co-op experiences to these games, possibly like dead space 3, not just the standard team death match mode. im not saying its the best idea but it could be that next transition in gaming that makes the industry re-evaluate what comes in a $60 box. Much like Halo 2 did back when they started competitive multiplayer on xbl.
looks a bit bulky lol, i feel like any controller with a screen should stay away from the Wii U design and just be modeled after the Vita. the vita or anything similar seems to be a good place to start when it comes to making controllers with big screens, still not sure why Wii U's controller is so big.
Fallout New Vegas was great, the only thing that game suffered from was having the same aesthetics as Fallout 3. And the new South Park RPG looks very promising. Also adding to the fact that the creators of South Park were and have been picky about its outcome and portrayal, so i think that says something about their confidence in Obsidian as a game developer. developers get better over time and it always helps when they have more money to work with to develop a game as well.
I loved my N64 and PS1 the best. Although the PS2 and Xbox had just about a game for anything you could think of so i did really have a phenomenal time playing a lot of different games last gen. I'd say this gen is a lot of fun but not my personal favorite, and the games aren't varied enough compared to past gens sadly.
i hope ZombiU goes multiplatform, i'd really like to play it, just don't really plan on getting a Wii U.
no, i understand what he said, im saying we need a Beyond Good and Evil 2, even if they're not currently working on it....
finally, we need Beyond Good and Evil 2!
never a big fan of useless sexual scenes in movies, which imo is a lot of them, it just never adds anything purposeful to a film a lot of the time. i feel like in gaming that would be more prevalent. like the mass effect or god of war sequences, did they really add anything to the game other than a conversation piece for journalism? i personally didn't come away from those sequences thinking "now im more immersed thanks to button mashing and choosing the right conversation combo...&q...
interesting way of looking at it, good article.
@Divineassault
your answer to my previous comment tells me yes, your delusional lol...
so this is either good trolling or an absolutely delusional comment, i hope Sony is paying you to be this obnoxious on their behalf.
good to see Ed Boone recognizes that updates for games should offer a new experience and not just a rehash of previous ones. too bad more creators weren't this way lol.
haha this looked like a windows 98 cinematic!
O.o
i think console makers got caught up with the new install base they have and the sheer size of it, not to mention the longevity of these consoles life cycles. Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony all saw the wider market and tried to see what would stick. I think core gamers felt the lack of attention because of this. I do think Next-Gen will be more focus because all three companies know what their working with in terms of audience and size this time around. So i think that'll translate into a ...
very excited about this news, never had a chance to play the one on the Wii.
