exactly, im guessing sometime in February, idk isnt Sony's Destination thing in February? but it would be odd Microsoft wouldn't also do it next month if they suspected Sony of an imminent announcement or vise versa. i guess we'll have to see..
“We’re also investing in Gen 4 console technologies and content,” said Riccitiello, as part of today’s financial results. “We’ve signalled that we’re working on the next editions of our two biggest franchises in Battlefield and FIFA. And, we look forward to discussing these programs and many others with you when we provide our FY14 guidance in May.”- EA's John Riccitiello
well thats extremely telling about the next generation launch windows for either Microsoft, Sony or b...
sessler is too good for faux news, fox news can suck a fat one. but on topic the first 1:45 seconds in, adam perfectly articulates why video games have been targeted since the early 1980's by the media. what cracks me up is how all these media outlets don't blame themselves for glorifying these murders as "big news stories" not to mention the lack of immediate blame at the individuals who commit these crimes and the weapons which allow them to commit them.
grabbed this off neogaf.com
"I'm leaning towards believing the OP cause he's been registered three years and this is probably the most silly/minor thing to risk a permaban over.
And Xbox.com has a history of fucking up and accidentally leaking things. They leaked their whole E3 2011 conference beforehand for example: http://www.neoseeker.com/fo... and the year be...
well youd probably be lying if uncharted wasnt the first thing that popped in your head when watching the video, the character looks just like him, the color tones are the same, even the plan sequence wasnt uncharted esque, and not too mention the art style sure dont scream "original" to me so...if not copycat, how about painfully uncreative and most likely derivative of a certain game like uncharted in theme, art, and content shown by the video.
so an uncharted copycat game in first person?
all im asking for is an interesting wasteland, rather than an empty one. i'd argue skyrim was still more of the same when it came to empty large areas of grass and miscellaneous trees. also character models and customization needs to be a lot more detailed for a next generation title. better towns, settlements and vaults. astly ive been curious about this, id tech's game RAGE was somewhat open world and looked graphically very good, id tech is apart of 2k games as well as bethesda. i ...
i thought about that, but i couldn't think of what they would do with the franchise that picking up the old N64 version couldnt satisfy. any thoughts on what a new star fox whould be like?
the only games that need the Wii U treatment imo are F-Zero, Pokemon Stadium or RPG, Kid Icarus, and a Donkey Kong Open World Title.
oh shit, that would be a next generation title that would shoot up to number one on my most anticipated list!
sweeeeeeet -__-
i agree, if i had to guess what the order of release would be here is my prediction. but obviously this is just my guess haha.
-march 2013- Montser Hunter Tri Ultimate
-ocober 2013- Shin megami Tensei X Fire Emblem
-spring 2014- Monolith Studios game
its nice that Nintendo is supporting developers who have a real passion to further the JRPG genre! in my eyes JRPG doesn't come to mind when i hear the name Square Enix, that company has no direction with the JRPG genre, just look at the mess the whole FF13 franchise and the time its taken for FF13 Versus to come out. but Nintendo is getting what it takes to support developers who want to deliver great games in the genre. hopefully Nintendo will continue this trend for years to come.
i just came to the same conclusions man, wind waker looks incredible but it was the announcement of yoshi world and the new monolith title that sealed the deal. now the waiting game for a potential price drop after E3 '13 begins haha, my cheap ass isnt going to drop a cent until i find out if these titles release this year. regardless i need a wii u very soon.
co-op for a game like this would be absolutely huge! to experience any type of game similar to xenoblades with a friend would be an amazing experience that Nintendo could and should offer.
im excited to see what the playstation 4 is all about! :D this is coming from a current xbox360 owner too.

exactly, its no longer 2005/2006. gaming has become a huge market especially in the u.s. and both Microsoft and Sony have seen large growth in audience and profits, not to mention the larger install base of gamers in general. this year will definitely be a huge match up between console giants at E3 and launch later this fall. i keep cracking up, because people thought console wars and fanboys were bad this year, wait until these fucking consoles are both announced and launched. the internet w...
this article makes some valid points but i disagree. i think Sony isn't going to want to make two launches in a row as the last one out of the gate. also it seems from all the rumors microsoft and sony will be vary close in specs so im sure any longer time waiting wont give any advantage on the tech side to sony. especially when it comes to specs and cost ratio, no way is sony in this american economy going to launch a system with significantly better specs than the nextbox, they just can...
ok yeah thats it, thanks man. i realize both Sony and Microsoft have big titles and exclusives still coming out on their current platforms. but i still think, like you, that February is the month of a next generation reveal.
