i agree to some extent, there are plenty of big franchise japanese games that do seem to evade the nitpicking when it comes to reviews about the story. But i think the same can be said about any highly advertised, hyped up, western, game; shall i say any recent hyped up fps or third person shooter.

ill wait for the Deadpool game, he has a sword and two guns, just like Dante. hopefully high moon makes Deadpool's gameplay quick like the old DMC games cause i could care less about the new DMC game.
not sure why more developers don't use this engine it would make for more lasting visuals on a lot of games, and just like Unreal Engine, Cry-engine still allows developers to make their own art style. would love to see games like the upcoming DC fighting game Injustice and High Moon's Transformers Fall of Cybertron use this engine!
am i suppose to be stoked for this game, because the title said Devil May Cry, i didn't see Devil May Cry. I saw a third person action game that had a generic looking protagonist, boring color pallet, slow combat and something that much more closely resembled a ninja gaiden game...i know its only a trailer but c'mon.
that was a great era indeed, i loved my n64, PS One, and Saturn!

i firmly believe the next xbox will be out around November 2013. although this is just my opinion. i also get the feeling this next gen for Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft will be very reminiscent of the original xbox, playstation 2, and gamecube generation. hopefully that means the amount of diverse games there is to be offered because that generation had a game for almost anything!
it seems a bit slow when it comes to the actual fighting hopefully the fighters have a decent move list other than what they showed.
i still haven't bought this game, if they do offer maga man and ant man as dlc, then why not i might pick up a used copy and download the dlc for $15, all together it'll probably fairly cheaper than $60.
