yeah so im sure their parents aren't going to rush out anytime soon after they just bought their kid a console to go buy a newer version of the same product. and thanks word police, don't write me a ticket...
the "masses" you speak of, are the ones who made angry birds such a success on the ios. the masses are not the people who go out and buy a console at launch, if that was the case, system sales for ps3 and xbox360 would have looked like they do now back in '07, if the masses rush out so quickly and buy new systems. and i dont care how much advertising you use, people today have way to many options in way to many different price ranges to be so enticed into shelling out $400 for a...
it is baffling how neither company is even talking about these new consoles. i mean the xbox360 is almost 8 years old (let me repeat that) 8 YEARS OLD! what customer base in the gaming market do these two companies think theyre going to cut into if they announce these next gen systems now. anybody waiting 8 years to buy a gaming system is not paying attention to gaming let alone interested in buy a new system which is likely more expensive then the one they waited 8 years to buy.
its funny how neither Microsoft or Sony will admit anything about their new consoles. its almost irritating because they think the over-saturated gaming market is just waiting to buy these next gen systems. when in reality if your buying an xbox360 or ps3 in 2012 your either broke or not an avid gamer, so for microsoft and sony to assume they will get sales next gen like they did with the ps3 and xbox360 is a joke. people who bought a ps3 or 360 in 2012 for black friday most likely are either...
i thought it was mgs at first lol, they might want to change the protagonist's appearance. but cool game noe the less, sort of reminded me of the suffering back on the original xbox.
i definitely agree with the prediction of a dragon age 3 or battlefield 4 teaser trailer, or hint of either ms's or sony's new console.
as much as i like the franchise, i think this would have hit the bargain-bin pretty quickly.
dont you just know it all...lol
very true, it is odd that the big players left. and rare did have some great titles. personally id love for microsoft to just buy bioware, jade empire 2!
it would be an industry shaking move, would that affect who could and couldn't have licensing of the unreal engine? i think it would be a strong decision for xbox and microsoft but may hurt gaming as a whole and i don't think epic would end up as rare. microsoft sort of kept rare alive but didn't use them well which ultimately ended the company, epic on the other hand has software, games, and established ip's that sell well acrooss all platforms, it'd be hard to take down ...
what the hell kind of article is this, Halo 4 took 3 years to develop, what financial, commercial, gameplay, graphics,or features would they gain by releasing another halo game? halo fans arent ccd fans.
the box art just screams. "hey buy me frat boy" seriously would it kill the gaming industry to start using some less cheesy looking heros instead of the stereotypical white, crew cut, male..its getting beyond old.
cool, i think its coming to the wii u as well.
im not quite sure why people are thinking its going to head to xbox or ps3, its like micosoft publishing mass effect and sony publishing mgs4, its just one of those games thatll be exclusive. people just need to get over it. buy a wii u or dont buy a wii u, but im tired of people bitching over one damn game.
epic really fucked up UT3 for console players that bought UT3 by not advertising the game at all, so the community was fairly small from the start, at least xbox360 anyway. really hope they try and make Unreal Tournament a big franchise again because i love the that series.
my point? my point is it is not a big deal the publisher changed because platinum games has been making the game all along. so platinum games isnt going to suddenly radically change how they planned to make the game so im sure it'll be good and seeing as its a really liked title im sure Nintendo will help them out to make it as good as possible so to make people want to buy the Wii U.
it's hardly a big deal considering Platinum Games developed the first Bayonetta, so the only difference is Nintendo not Sega, is publishing the sequel this time around.
its been stated by Nintendo the launch window is 4 months, so 51 games in 4 months is fairly do-able considering a lot of those titles are ports and games that are coming out for multiple consoles before the years over. games like Bayonetta 2 and Monster Hunter Tri-U are probably not going to come out in that 4 month window ill bet. not really sure why you decided to make up the figure 20 for the number of games being delayed though, you have no way of knowing and i highly doubt half the list...
that's impressive! although ill probably wait and get a Wii U later down the road, this is good for early adopters, really digging Monster Hunter Tri-U, Bayonetta 2, The Wonderful 101. Can't wait until i do finally pick up a console.
