Are you in business with Sony? Are you an investor? If not, the business side doesn't concern you or anyone not involved. You're an outsider looking in. It doesn't matter if you have a problem with "whether you like it or not". People tend to dismiss Fortnite because it's not for them. Well once again, NEWS FLASH. It's the biggest game in the world. Fact. Thus, if the community of the biggest game in the world has an issue with something, it's going to be bro...

Well for one, I never said you were against Fortnite. I never even asked if you played, let alone to hear your stats. You were actually the one assuming. You said no one was complaining when FF skipped Xbox because they didn't agree to crossplay. Then I literally gave you a list of reasons why. Popularity is a HUGE dictating factor in what happens in this industry, what are you even talking about? Did you not notice COD and BF all of a sudden have Battle Royale modes now? Fortnite is a lo...

Uhh it's called "Different times, different circumstances". FF wasn't on mobile, Switch, Xbox and PC with cross-play. FF wasn't the biggest game in the world (whether you like it or not), FF wasn't free to play. No one cared about Battle Royal until PUBG came around. Everyone laughed at Fortnite calling it a PUBG clone and said it would fail. In a years time look at how that entire situation is upside down. Times change, the industry evolves, standards are set and ex...

So? It was never developed for Xbox nor had anything related to Xbox integrated within the game. It's had multiple updates and this one includes a new perspective to play from and some visual improvements. People really need to learn that just because something was exclusives for X amount of time, doesn't mean the ones left out are entitled to a cheaper game due to their wait. That wait could have been due to funds from Sony, it could have been due to ...

The problem with your argument is the majority of those "crossplay" titles are within Sony's brand. Many even support cross-buy. Not exactly the same as having crossplay with PC, Switch or an Xbox One. By definition, yes you're correct. But we all know that's not the same argument being made.

People said the same about Driveclub VR but I honestly didn't mind. I also don't get motion sickness that easy, so I guess that helps?

Well the problem here is you don't have your facts straight. If you don't have your facts straight and understand correctly, how is any point I attempt going to make sense to you? Educating yourself on something you like to talk about (I assume that's why you're here? To talk about games) isn't something to take offensively.

It's using the IP's name and shipping on all major platforms. If it didn't fit within the universe, timeline and lore, ...

Okay and? Those people choose to live there. If you're a kid under 18, that's unfortunate but life isn't fair. At 18 you can freely move to an area that supports your hobby. Single player games that require an internet connection to play? Yes, I agree those are ridiculous and need to end. Games that are multiplayer only don't fall in that category. They are 100% designed around online play. Think of it like an MMO. You're not gonna complain to Blizzard that you can't p...

I picked up Dirt Rally VR Bundle. I loved Driveclub VR. One of my favorite VR games. I'm probably the minority, but I couldn't stand the regular version of Driveclub, but the VR offering was perfect for me. Since GT Sport is lacking with its VR support, I'm hoping this will turns out great since everything can be played in VR.

Well that would be a waste of time. They already said private servers are coming, just not at launch.

What are you talking about? You don't lose your stuff when you die. People keep thinking this game is like Rust, Day Z or Ark. It's not. They even said think about it like a "lite" version of open world survival games. Same thing with your base. It doesn't sit in a server where people can raid you. It goes with you when you log out. It gets nuked while you play, you can select "repair" and POOF. Repaired base.

People keep also forgetting that Bethesda isn't a developer, it's a publishing company. Bethesda Games Studios is a division in that. Bethesda announced that "whole #savesingleplayer crusade" with multiple titles listed. You can see it here:

Most of Bethesda's titles are single player as with every single titl...

Because it's not a 100% achievable rate. Within the first year we started seeing less and less 1080p 60fps games unless they were indie. Technology advances too quick for consoles to produce consistent results. Lets not forget planning on parts go into these consoles way before release to ensure room for mass production. By the time the console is actually out, it's already outdated. It's completely unrealistic to think 4K 60FPS is a standard for next gen when within a year or so,...

I like to go by facts, not peoples perspective of how they see things. I also don't put words into peoples mouth. Fallout, Fallout 2, 3, New Vegas and 4 are all single player titles, yes. We are talking about Fallout 76 though aren't we? It's an online only game. New Vegas was also a "spin off" title. So lets educate you a little bit.

The definition of "spin off" is: "a byproduct or incidental result of a l...

Depends on how the game is designed if it allows you to progress that fast. For argument sake, let's assume it does. Of course there will be a few people. But it's not going to be common enough where every server you join has nukes being fired.

Let's not forget they are having a beta. Once that's out and people are playing, I imagine a lot of tweaking will be done. I'm not the biggest PVP player as I prefer co-op or single ...

Milking its fanbase? Their last game was 2 1/2 years ago. You guys love to act like you HAVE to buy this game. You don't. You can easily skip it with the amount of games coming out this holiday. They are offering dedicated servers, something still a lot of companies don't. They confirmed cosmetic microtransactions to help pay for the servers and free content added.

If you're going to quote someone, at least you what they said. Not...

Well for one, I never used the word "own". I said I have. However you want to look at it, doesn't really matter to me. I paid for X game, downloaded it, beat it and moved on. I can redownload and play it again whenever I like. I've been gaming over 20 years, never once had any of my account banned. Least of my worries. My job can require me to stay somewhere else for a few days up to a week. Having a pure digital PS4 with a 2TB HDD allows me...

It's always online because it's an online only game. You just compared that to FF7 Remake and KH3. Two single players titles. I suggest you work on educating yourself a bit more on the subject before making more ignorant comparisons.

For starters, there's dedicated servers. Whenever you log-in to the game you're connected to a random server. Private servers will be available but not a launch. You have a deployable "workbench" per say (forget what they called it) that can be placed anywhere and will provide you with X amount of space to build your base. There's no permadeath. You don't loose everything you're carrying when you die. When you log out, your base gets packed up and goes with you. ...

Not sure about Xbox (Don't own one), but PS4 allows you to play your digital titles offline on the accounts primary PS4. I have (according to PSN) around 170 digital titles. Only game I own on disc is Diablo 3. I've had a few internet outages and was able to enjoy all my downloaded titles no problem.
