Well the PS4 version came out 7 months ago. When it came out it had the same server issues for a couple days. It's a bit ridiculous how crazy people are acting over it. As if big game launches don't always have connection issues for the first couple days on and off.

Runic games did shut down. So this is a different studio and no actual gameplay in this trailer. Doesn't help that the title alone just sounds like a mobile game. I'm keeping my expectations extremely low since Runic did such an amazing job with Torchlight.

A GTX 1060 is a low/mid tier card at best. The explanation is above if you bothered reading it. This is a CPU intensive game, not GPU. Having a 1070 wouldn't give you 1080p 30FPS if your CPU is extremely weak.

More of a myth. There's articles providing "proof" for both sides of that argument. What's in the article makes sense.

“To eliminate interstitial loading during active gameplay, MHW loads the entire level into memory. In addition to managing assets loaded into memory, it keeps track of monster interactions, health status, environment/object changes, manages LOD & object culling, calculates collision detection and physics simulation, and tons of other ...

Out of curiosity, do you have a launch PS4? I still have mine and it's extremely loud as well. I love the update, but unless I'm playing with my friends I'm sticking to PC for solo play for now. I've had 6 crashes in the first day, 3 of them forcing me to hard reset my PS4. I'm also constantly dropping in FPS to what feels like 10-15. I'm sure the Pro handles it more smoothly for 1080p, but I'm wondering if newer PS4 models are also running very loud and or lots of...

That show wasn't even close to fine. They showed amazing gameplay for everything they had and this show on paper would sound extremely good but the execution and presentation were just terrible. Not to mention the terrible audio issues and streaming errors they had at the start. Everyone there seemed so confused and clueless as to what to do next. Like they were just figuring it out as they went.

On the other hand, it's cool they tried something new. I think it wou...

Umm that list is outdated. Even if the first comment says it's outdated. Ringed planets were shown in the trailer for NEXT and Crashed Freighters have been in the game since the last update a year ago. Yeah, not a very reliable source.

And in Fallout 76 you can join your friend and do the story or any quest you want.......

This interview goes in depth on a lot of peoples concerns

They "thought" about it because believe it or not, Fallout MP has been HIGHLY requested. It was asked for, they were interested and now they're doing it. Culling 2 is a horrible example. The first game was completely abandoned, then announced a sequel out of no where launching a few days after its reveal. Now they canned that already and announced the original game is going Free to Play. Nothing close to Bethesda Games Studio TRYING a spin off MP game for the first time. You wis...

Well No Mans Sky is a brand new product for that system. So the MSPR from 2 years ago isn't going to apply today. Also this only applies to the digital version. All the common game stores (Best Buy, GameStop etc) a new copy of NMS for PS4 is $19.99. The issue in regards to the digital version might be one of two things; Sony/Valve have no interest in lowering the price on their platforms or they will update the price to $49.99 when not on sale since pre-orders for Xbox just went live. The...

You're also forgetting about people like myself who do not own an Xbox (I play all their exclusives on PC) but does own every other console. Fortnite just recently came to the Switch and been on PS4 since Day 1. Fortnite was also HUGE prior to coming to the Switch. So people like myself who tried out/played Fortnite on PS4/PC but also have a Switch are interested in the best feature of that console. Portability. Thus, we download the game and go to sign int...

That's 100% normal for digital versions. The game never got an official price cut and digital title prices don't usually deflate over time like physical copies, but it does go on sale very frequently. Skyrim would jump back to $59.99 (MSRP is $39.99 now I believe) right after being on sale for $4.99. I somehow didn't grab Helldivers from PS+ and when I checked the PS Store it was $39.99. Meanwhile for the past 2 weeks it was on sale for $7.99 and now jumped back up to $39.99.

Well to be fair, this comparison is pointless. They're 4 years apart. A more far comparison would be Fallout 4. It came out a year and a half after Witcher 3, ran on a new build of the same engine used to make Skyrim and launched on current platforms. What we got was an overall better video game with Fallout 4, but the narrative took a backseat. I think it's safe to say nothing was in the back seat for Witcher 3. Granted Bethesda were trying something new with the whole voice protagon...

Would you rather a crappy port or a 6 month wait? Yeah it sucks having to wait, but if this port is very well optimized and offers what PC gamers expect in terms of settings and options. I think the wait will be justified. I'll admit, I'm impatient when it comes to Monster Hunter. So I got the deluxe on PS4 day 1. Since then I've put 650 hours into it with no signs of slowing down. With the amount of free DLC and crossover events, I don't mind double dipping. I already have th...

You're both misinterpreting what I'm saying. You can show interest all you want, do as much research to better yourself and your purchasing decisions. That's cool. The difference here is that people are speaking on their behalf like they represent the company. As an outsider looking in, yes, business wise it doesn't make sense for Sony. But that doesn't negate the fact that its an issue because the community made it an issue. Screaming "Business wise it doesn't ma...

Agreed! They did a great job with the FH3 PC version for their first attempt and they didn't take too long address the few issues it did have. Think I'm going to go with the Ultimate Edition again. FH3 was well worth it and I REALLY enjoyed the expansion packs. MS was smart for acquiring PG when they did. They're one hell of a talented group.
