Oh I know. Big Final Fantasy fan.
Emptiest most sparse building interior I've ever seen.
Well, that's partly my own fault I guess- my failure to articulate in a fashion stimulating to you. However, your seeing it as tedious to read is partly your own fault too. I can't do much on my end; I'm not not about to edit this to suit whatever standard will keep your attention, so it's kind of up to you to make a bit more effort. You don't have to of course, but I'd rather you did if you're among the people deciding whether or not to approve it.
Hmmmm, the surge of money at the end is a bit suspicious. Seems like it was some big investor or publisher, not the backer community. Either way, hopefully this is good.
That said I don't know why they need hundred's of thousands extra just to make an introductory level, or a single level with the Call character. I really don't think you NEED budgets like this to make a GOOD videogame... Anyhow, should be good.
Good idea. New outlets don't care about spoiling shit for people, they just want to churn out news and get paid. I reckon we should all just pretty much ignore them, don't give them the time of day.
We know HL3 will be good no matter what, so to hell with keeping up to date with the inundation of media that'll precede it's release, it only ever serves to spoil and make the final experience lack.
Half Life 3 Confirmed.
HALF LIFE 3 CONFIRMED.
Half Life 3 confirmed?
HALF LIFE 3 CONFIRMED.
That sounds interesting, just not very well organised or intuitive.
What is it about the way these guys make games that means this continues to happen? I mean it's obviously funny, but it's weird that it's a recurring thing.
Of course maybe they put in there on purpose as a reference, but that makes it less funny. Glitches are funny because they're unintended.
Em, alright. You're being a little bit presumptuous. First of all you're panning the game's difficulty based on the opening section. When has that ever been fair, in any game?
Secondly then, how do you know it doesn't get harder after this? This is obviously more of a tutorial stage in the game. By extension, how are you so sure that you'd even be able to manage hard mode on your first attempt? Perhaps it would be wise to play easy mode first (well, it'...
@Pozzle: Yeah, I totally agree. What is it about people who just can't deign to refer to these people as "she". What exactly is the problem? I think it's just because they feel it destabilizes the narrow binaries of gender they swear by. They feel betrayed in their masculinity by these people. I think they need to learn that masculinity and heterosexuality aren't sovereign genders and sexualities.
First of all Kugo, trans people aren't gay. They look at women and then think, "I want to be one of those, I feel like one of those inside". In other words, the anatomy they've been born with DOES NOT accord with their inner subjectivity- it's a clear case of biology NOT defining who they are and how they should act. Most confidently gay men don't WANT to be women, they're fully content being men, and they just happen to like other men. God what an ignorant and i...
Soraya is right, obviously, but she overlooks the fact that the game is made to be SO fun, which makes it problematic. She's right, and few people seem to be catching onto this point, when she says "The above listed are topical, urgent problems that are on everyone’s minds, and the designers of GTA V smartly needle those sensitivities around our collective complicity in them through their satirical model of the American way."
She seems to not realise that prett...
Wrong. Biology has nothing to do with it. Generally, people who choose to have a sex change operation feel like, in the case of men "a woman trapped in a man's body". Who are you to tell her what she is and is not? She feels overwhelmingly like a woman, you can't just judge on surface appearance, not to mention that sexuality is only very thinly defined by biology, and also not to mention that sexuality exists along a spectrum. There are men who are less man than other men, ...
Do you not think this just looks like something slapped together quickly in Unreal? (Which is what it is actually.) It just looks so bland and murky, and way too "real". I hope they "toon" it up a bit (no pun intended).
If they could make the game literally look like this: http://christian-gaming.com... It would be incredible.
And there's a super hard mode unlocked when you finish it apparently
Visually it kind of reminds me of Skate with cars.
Eeeeeh, I don't really like the look of that. I thought it was going to look kind of like the concept art- more cartoony, and sort of Rayman legends-esque, and sort of like Blaz Blue I think (the way the camera spins around the characters revealing them to be 3d). I'm sure it'll change but at the moment it looks really unremarkable.
Obviously R.I.P. It's sad when anyone dies. But the guy still wrote the most jingoistic stuff ever. It's sad that he's gone, and I'm sure his family are devastated, but it's not sad that we won't see anymore stuff from him. I'd say the same if he had retired from writing while still alive.
