Oh, it's VERY true. Like TheHater said, some of the bomb fragments are in the trees and you kinda have to climb them in order to get them. Hell, even in some of the early preview videos it showed Cole hanging onto a tree while fighting some Reapers.
This was a decent review, but I really have trouble taking it seriously when it gets a major fact like this wrong.
Dude, that's a demo. The full game is on a disk. Trust me I know. I got a platinum trophy for it.

I bought this on PSN the second I saw it available. Screw a battery-sucking UMD. Besides, I plan on getting a PSP Go anyway to upgrade my PSP 1000 launch unit.
Where are you getting your information from? That isn't available on PSN. There's a $30 disk with all of these games except for GunStar Heroes on it, but it's not on PSN. What are you talking about?
