Video editor and uploader is EXACTLY what I've been asking for. I am very happy with this update based on that alone, and the rest is icing on the cake. Having a rating system for PSN games is a long overdue addition; glad to see it! And more Facebook connectivity is always a very nice bonus.
More like, because it's not a very interesting article it won't reach the first page.
That was quick. Wonder why? Are 360 owners not buying this game? If I had a 360, I'd've bought it! Well, now there's no excuse. This game needs to be played!
*clears throat*
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
Let me get this straight. They think that having a better version of Wi-Fi makes up for the fact that they have no Blu-Ray, a inferior form of HDMI, no web browser, and a HDD that you can't swap out with a standard drive?
Now THAT'S comedy. ...
Game from developer I care about = I buy new.
Game from developer I don't care for, but would like to play = I buy used or rent.
Beginning, middle, end.
Yeah, some of those were actually fairly interesting!
I know I'm in the minority here, but I actually liked the first game, particularly the online mode. It was awesome...I have fond memories of shootouts with traitors and making it to the pick-up point with mere seconds to spare with cops right on my ass, or picking the exact right moment to betray the team, grab the loot, and escape with it.
If they can improve the core gameplay, this is a buy!
Oh, and IO Interactive...make another damned Freedom Figh...
PixelJunk Dungeons. Any other questions?
I actually agree 100%. I loved inFamous, and while I liked Cole, he wasn't a very interesting person to me. He just kinda spoke in this gravelly voice and kinda moped most of the game.
This Cole seems to be more comfortable with who he has become. The character just seems more compelling than his appearance in the first game...like he has more depth to him.
I'm looking forward to seeing this...reimagining of Cole McGrath.
Make this apart of PlayStation+, and it's a done deal.
Jeez, aren't the millions they make from people paying for XBL Gold enough for them?
I don't think 3D will take off...soon. The tech is still a bit too immature and expensive. Sony, however, has shown themselves to be a company that doesn't look so much at the 'now' as much as they look at the 'what will be.' Microsoft was wrong about Blu-Ray, wrong about HDMI, and wrong about 1080p gaming. They'd be wise to not bet against Sony again, otherwise they're going to have serious problems next gaming generation.
What? You mean an M rated game has profanity? No way! Next thing you'll tell me is that there's profanity in R rated movies.
Here's an idea; don't want to play games with profanity? Stop playing M rated games! Weird idea, I know.
Also, am I the only one amused that while the idea of spending 8-10 hour virtually shooting, stabbing, and blowing up human beings is apparently acceptable, the concept of hearing the 'f' word a few t...
Why is this here and not on BadJoystick?
I too love the movies. Hell, I'm watching part 4 as I type this (having yet another Saw marathon here in Casa de Jackson). Having said that, I hated the first game; the gameplay and graphics were terrible. They need to improve this for the second game.
These picks were interesting, to say the least. I'm sure this will cause much debate amongst the masses.
@testerg35: You'll notice my opinion on the subject hasn't changed. Or do you simply ignore it since it does not help to prove your point?
My opinion on Gabe and Valve hasn't magically changed. The only reason he did this is because the PlayStation 3 fanbase has finally gotten too big for him to ignore. So after blasting us for the last three and a half years, now he wants our money.
To hell with that. I'll support the devs that always had our backs, not the ones who came crawling once they figured out we're on top.
@Dread: Guess you missed the kinda important fact that PSN does not make you pay to play your games online. it's okay; I used to have trouble reading when I was 2. You'll get past it.
@ The Leisure Lab: No, that statement is not true. Not even close; were ypu to press nothing, then you'd simply be looking at Ethan sitting on his bed for several hours.
