First of all, the dreamcast controller sucked; only one analogue, very few buttons, huge, horrible face buttons, etcetera. Second, the memory cards were gimmicky and that cost SEGA more than it should. Third, no DVD playback ensured it wouldn't be bought at launch by casuals. Fourth, it had very few games worth buying i.e. poor 3rd party support and the few worth buying weren't really appealing, not because they were bad, but because they were unknown. Fifth, no *native out of the box* backwa...
"^^Is the reason why you have beef not to mention the exclusive thing. Way more going on at once in the foreground and background with processing. Things like objects on screen to social mechanics with all the AI's , much faster experience in Prototype IMO from whats been shown thus far. "
Again, more fanboy crap. There's a lot more going on in Infamous, it looks a lot more realistic, the textures are a lot more detail, the ground is not always feeling like a freaking...
"Uncharted and Killzone 2 claims are myths..."
Fanboys love to exchange the term myth with the term reality as evidenced here:

- Web Browsing
- Best downloadable movies, bought or rental
It was announced for Next-gen consoles, but demoed for PS3.

"the PS3's lineup for 2008 was better or at least on par with the xbox360's lineup."
Same could be said for 2007 if you consider that Bioshock and the Orange Box are multiplatform, and that Mass effect will be multiplatform.
Uncharted > Halo 3
Ratchet > Halo 3
Warhawk > Halo 3
Folklore > Halo 3
Heavenly Sword > Halo 3
Lair > Halo 3

"Conviction is 360 only buddy.NOwhere has it been confirmed for PC unless you have a link. "
Why would anyone develop games for 360 and not release them on PC? I know some exist, but they could theoretically come out day 1 on PC. By now anyone should be able to play 360 games on PC with a decent set-up, no need to break the piggy.
Fanboy alert
FAIL. Another fanboy, probably.
"i forgot my old password so i had to make a new account...still me though :) as you can see from the name."
Still you but with more bubbles. LOL, what a retarded LIE, nobody could possibly fall for that, you'd have to be too stupid to forget your own password. You can't have duplicate accounts, reported.
And it's not just lack of games, it's the huge list of reasons to wait till its cheaper and it gets more games, and to sell it if you actually bought it like I did
The JRPGs that are present on 360 are mediocre at best and are almost surely coming to PS3 sooner or later for those that care. For good JRPGs there's PS2. 360 doesn't have much in that area and it's not the most popular genre except in Japan.
The only JRPGs that sell very well in the west are Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. Even Dragon Quest doesn't sell that much in the west. Everything FF is on PS3, and Kingdom Hearts will be on either PS3 or Wii.
But they probably will. I hope I'm wrong though.
It's good to keep things quiet, because otherwise you could set expectations too high. GDC07 was epic because Sony kept their mouth shut until the last minute, it was some guy named Moledina that broke the silence but that wasn't Sony and he didn't say much, only that Sony fans would be "happy", and Harrison delivered.
That this sh1tty looking game (not saying the game will suck, just that from a technical viewpoint it looks horrendous) is probably gonna look better on 360; not like PS3 owners will care because infamous looks WAY better (at least in terms of technology) than this game. But the saddest thing will be watching 360 fanboys claiming console superiority when this game is shown running with two additional frames per second even though it looks like crap on both consoles.
Tech specs ...
1. No matter how much Square Enix is claiming to be using of PS3's power, this game is multiplatform, so it's unlikely to be taking advantage of PS3
2. To prove the above, just remember that the White engine is not only Cross-platform, but that it was only using 4 SPE's, not 6. That's hardly most of what the SP3 can do.
3. We don't really know how sloppy they're being in terms of memory use or RSX use. If Square Enix couldn't even get the Unreal Engine running on...
Can you prove this or are you just taking this random cypher out of your butthole?
A Killer App is a system seller according to Wikipedia. So between your questionable definition and Wikipedia's questionable definition, I'll take Wikipedias.
"A killer application (commonly shortened to killer app), in the jargon of computer programmers and video gamers, has been used to refer to any computer program that is so necessary or desirable that it proves the core value of some larger technology, such as computer hardware like a gaming console, operating system ...
When you grow up you'll realize that SEGA screwed up big time in many ways with the Dreamcast and all of its predecessors. Whoever ate that "Emotion Engine = Toy Story graphics" crap is a complete moron anyway, lol. The PS2 still blew the Dreamcast out of the water in everything except online play. It was technically a lot more advanced and it showed, regardless of the fact that it did not live up to your dumbass expectations.
Now I understand why so many Xbox cheerle...
