Skies of Arcadia.
I agree with other feedback the Xenoblade and Bioshock should have made the list. Not sure who to replace (street fighter??). It blew the entire classic JRPG genre out of the water on a much weaker system. And Bioshock can still hold a conversation with its strong story.
Calm down. This is Ultra settings for a PC (much higher than any console). As long as it looks great on any setting on my 3 Gb card I'll be happy. As tech improves so do the requirements needed to get that performance.
And this version has both!
Any true staples of FF are long gone. You could argue that X was the last true FF (I think XII). I'm ok with new battle systems and ideas but Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon and Xenoblade are more FF than XIII or what XV is looking like. Still fun, but not FF.
I was severely underwhelmed by the beta. I know that you should avoid showing your best cards so early and its only a test but the gameplay was so...meh. I've been gaming for more than two decades and it takes more than that to get me interested in a warn out genre. I hope it does well but I'm thinking many will be disappointed.
Nailed it. You win today sir.
They add true value. $15 for 16 tracks is true DLC value.
I rarely buy DLC because compared to the full price game, its not worth it. If a few missions/maps/costumes were really worth 5-$15 games would be $100.
I totally agree. Xenoblade is the start. I'm sure they are not going to stop there. With a system over three years old I'd rather have a total upgrade than this half upgrade half redesign. Too many people are already invested in the system with few going to pay up for a baby step upgrade. Also, the 3DS already has enough branding issues with 3DS, 3DSXL, 2DS all being the same "gen" line up.
Edit: And if your going to upgrade anything, upgrade the camera. I ...
Only if they don't pay taxes. Otherwise, that's what your money goes to.
With the high stakes AAA games require every game can be the last. Look how Crytek is crippled from just one game that performed less than expected.
Sweep the cutting room floor. Put it in a box and... DLC!
What's killing it for me is the practically instant death KO from multiplayer. I liked Halo because if you were not the first one to shoot you still had a skill chance of surviving. Destiny is like CoD and other modern shooters where your dead during a shootout way too quick. I enjoy the danceing/dodging around. Its when those awesome moments happen.
I have all week with no success.
Not sure. Besides some limited items Jp and Eu have a much larger selection.
Free is free however...
Japanese fans get more options, better items and more promos. Europe has triple the selection than the US and frankly, from a business standpoint, the US is Nintendo's bread and butter.
I was bummed by the offerings this year because getting exclusive items is way better than a game I don't have time to play IMO.
Not on the 3DS? The system that opened this new branch of RE games?
A number of developers have expressed frustration with the $60 flat pricing system. With COD and other games offering many options while a more simple game goes for the same price is a severe break in perceptive value. That why most non AAA games go to only the niche audience.
I'd much rather pay for a 40-50 dollar game without a forced mode than 60 for a bunch of crap that I wont use. Example would be Bioshock 2 which had a multiplayer mode. It was short lived and many p...
Unless the game is designed around it, keep political agendas out of games. Its one of the few sources of entertainment that does not try to make statements about everything.
More PR crap. Real news or announcements or don't bother.
