Not to disagree with your point, but a GTX 680 only pushing 1 TFLOPS...LOL total BS.

It should be over 3 TFLOPS which would still crush whatever is in the ONE gpu wise.

But BF4 is releasing on PC, while Xbox ONE games are not, unless you count that cloud BS.

A lot of us were hopeful. We tried not assuming the worst.

Look where that got us...broken dreams.

You are far underestimating the outrage over MS policies and the absurdity of it's price.

Amazon has a vote up and PS4 is currently winning with an 18 to 1 ratio.

At this rate the console itself won't even make "HALO NUMBERS".

It may be the camera angle, but I believe only the upper half is shiny.

"Too hardcore" is when your product is aimed at such a small portion of the market that it's own relevance in specialty begins to limit prospective buyers.

Honestly, Patcher's predictions are either so out out there or so painfully obvious that the average N4G user could do his job better, without any insider info.

Don't worry, there will be more and more exclusives as the Gen goes on and Sony gains 80% of the market like with the PS2.

Vertical orientation causes unnecessary wear on slot disk drives.

It is one of the reasons for many failed wiis nearing the end of its lifespan.

So, even if there is an option, I suggest against it.

That is what they used for the reveal, so likely unless they somehow got 2 8990 samples running smooth.

That 12% is actually for US only. world average is 22%.

It's near dead even in Saudi Arabia with nearly 3x the votes of the US.

Conspiracy...

Anyone else notice this BS?

Saudi Arabia - 10,370 votes.....48% MS

United States - 3,618 votes......12% MS

@chcolatesnw

A x6 BR drive has read speeds of 216 Mbit/s or 27 Mbyte/s.

A decent HDD easily does 100 Mbyte/s.

1 byte = 8 bits

A new series is a new series, but both the GTX700 and HD8000 series are rebrands of their predecessors with slight improvements.

The GTX800 and HD9000 series will be seeing a massive boost in performance as the chips drop down to the 20 nm process and they (or their successors) are likely to be the first to implement GDDR6.

Per example:

The 7970 is a 3.8 TFLOP card.
The OEM 8970 is 4.3 TFLOP card.
The 9970 is expected to be ...

You could still count me in for a Demons Souls style game for vita.

If it is for PS4 and XB1, I could care less about if it is exclusive or not, MS already signed their death warrant with that 24 hr. online BS.

4642d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

33% or 50% depends on if you count the XB1 or PS4 as 100%.

Those numbers are directly related to the core count on the GPU side of the APU.

This is roughly the same theoretical difference between PS3 and 360, but only PS exclusives made use of that.

Only thing is, this time it is far from theoretical seeing as both use the same architecture.

It's the difference between a 7770 and a 7850. Easily a 10 FPS difference for gam...

It's called middleware.

It's software that is used in addition to whichever game engine they use.

BTW, using a pre-developed game engine is quite an efficient and effective way to put your game out, compared to developing everything from scratch.

I am not sure about current figures, but last I checked SP was a team of less than 100. Their work blows certain 600 person teams out of the water.
