Look, however No Man's Sky turns out (we've seen so much gameplay the only thing left to see is whether some of us get bored of it), it'll still go down in the history books. But I respect you're opinion (though it is a tiny bit like thorstein said).
As for CoD:IW, well are hopes really aren't that high to start with. Also, you are right that just because BF1 has a great trailer, doesn't mean it will be ... well great. However if they do in fact pull it off it...
I'm so looking forward to this! Not only is it amazing looking and just therapeutic, I'll be able to play it on the PC! God I've hated Sony for so long for keeping Journey to themselves (and for the record, before I get chewed to bits by PS fans, I know it's a little more complex than that, but still hate 'em (and same goes for Uncharted :'( ))
Well 10 hours isn't so bad, and it seems to have plenty of sidequests and even more collectibles, so there's stuff to do. Mind you I know een after I finish I'll end up just freerunning through the city ...
It doesn't have fast travel? I mean honestly as someone who just loves to run and find new routes then it's not a problem but maybe for newbies and less experienced players it may be a problem. But then again, if you're not into the running, then why would you be playing the game? Just a thought ...
I had heard the leveling wasn't great, but I think that applies more to the freerunning than the actual combat. Shame about the story too, but I'm still hopeful it won't be terrible. The ragdoll physics are quite bad, though I see what they were aiming for and it's not easy. The effects are hilarious though. And graphics wise, I think it's on Xbox One that it flops. From what I've seen it looks stunning on pc ....
God, I don't wanna be that guy, but those graphics look hella disappointing. I mean they were never great, but that looks straight up bad, or is it just me?
Shame about the combat, but I reckon it'll flow smoother the more skilled you get (also I heard there are plenty of upgrades). Whatever the case, I'll make up my own mind on the 9th. I think people should look less at ratings, and read the reviews a little more. It's just tragic that people can have a look at the number and think 'meh, not worth checking' ...
Wow this concept art is amazing!
Like I've said before, I'm really looking forward to seeing the melee in action. Never seen more advanced melee in FPSs at all ...
Dude, of course this game is nothing like WW1. In fact no game is really like any war. Soldiers in the trenches often describe the wait as one of the worse factors. It was nothing, and then short bursts of gunfire, bombs and mustard gas. In summary, misery and horror. So games can't and shouldn't be like the real thing. Mind you, maybe there should. Some kids after playing this are gonna be like 'oh wouldn't it be cool if I was in WW1', that's not right ...
I with you on this one. In fact, although IGN have a point, I think it was important for the game to have an open world. Besides, it's a quasi unique genre, and the closest to first person open world freerunning we have so far is Dying Light (in which the freerunning was honestly quite disappointing). Whatever the case, there's very little they'll be able to do to stop me from loving it ...
Honestly, I don't see the point in putting precise dates like that at this point in the development. I mean maybe they're further through than I imagined but it just opens up the possibility for delays. Just say Early 2017 and be done with it. Mind you if one's things certain is that this is gonna be awesome ...
I think lots of Ubisoft's hate is undeserved, and I think lots of it's new game's just go to prove that. To be honest I hate the whole unforgiving attitude of some people towards companies like Ubisoft and EA. For god's sake, if you don't like the game, don't start a feud about it! Just hope the next game is better or play something else. I know somebody who's started avoiding Ubisoft games in general because he didn't like AC Unity. What the hell? What are you...
Yes! I'm pissing myself in anticipation (figuratively of course).
Man this is great news ... I mean as far as I'm concerned it could be deemed terrible and I still be hyped as hell and probably love it but it's brilliant people are liking it so far!
YES!!! Been waiting for this for ages. Mind you Watchdogs 2 sucks as a name. Hope it's called something different. :/
Well we shall see ...
It's not impossible to have a good melee in FPS. Even something like in the first Mirrors Edge where if you get the timing just right you take him out would be better than it is so far. Anyone see what I'm referring to?
God game's got an update and isn't even out for most people. Still can't wait though!
Can't wait for E3! Particularly interested in the melee, definitely gonna be great to have some better melee in a FPS ... especially after Battlefront's terrible melee system.
Honestly, I think one of the reasons we expect the multiplayer to be bad, is simply because the singleplayer was so brilliant. In fact, as this article shows, a multiplayer made perfect sense, as the singleplayer had such promising mechanics and potential to bring into something else ...
