Microsoft annouced that the 60GB Xbox 360 will be released in the UK at £200 on the 15th August, so you could pick it up this weekend and get some other great games.

I don't know if anyone else plays World In Conflict on the PC but the way they did copy protection was to ask for the activation key when you want to play online mutiplayer and you also have to have the game in the disk drive as well to make sure its a legit copy. Its a simple way and yeh it may of been cracked but its not too annoying to the user and makes it a little hard to crack.
I will try and buy every game I want, I will only pirate games if they are really hard to find...
If you mean the video marketplace then yes we already have that, as for Netflix it is not available in the UK. My guess is that Microsoft will annouce a partnership with Blockbuster or Lovefilm for that sort of stuff. As for the Fall update going live, MS will get a press release to most gaming sites, Major Nelson will also Im guessing annouce it as well just a little bit before.

£200 for that is an awesome buy, my PS3 60GB in the UK costed £330 with Resistance and Motorstorm from play.com and that was in November last year.
Vista is working for me alright, actually like it more than XP tbh, lots of features which area pretty cool and helpful.
Thank god for the 18 rating in the UK, BBFC are really good with age ratings most of the time.
I prefer desktops tbh, I'm waiting until they can fit more than 500GB hard drives into a laptop and a good graphics card without it being so expensive.
PC version > console version, enjoy your non HD resoultion, subpar graphics, lack of AA and free online console boys.
Wait until the blu-ray drives become cheaper for the PC, then you will see cracked PS3 games in time just not now.

I've pirated before and I will keep on doing it, I don't have any other reason then I can just do it (not a nike viral advert mind you) and because as a student I just can't afford to spend nearly a grand on Photoshop or a hundred quid on Office and I know people will suggest Gimp or Open Office but they aren't nearly as good as Office or Photoshop tbh.
Also, most music today is plain filler crap with maybe 2-3 good songs at most, why should I give that artist £10 and say...
Dead Rising was a fun ass game for the 360, sure there were problems which Capcom can fix but I want Dead Rising 2 for my 360. Also the one major reason why Capcom released Dead Rising was to see how powerful the 360 was which I thought was pretty cool.
Achievements like that are pointless much like Gears of War's achievement called Seriously where you had to get 10,000 kills in total in only Online ranked matches.
Hell even Bungie said that these sort of achievements are pointless and they aren't fun to the player, achievements should be used to make the game more fun and if needed to use the games functions so that players can learn how to play the game. There's nothing wrong with a hard achievement its just got to be fun f...

The UK also get bent over all the time so we are pretty much in the same boat, only problem is that we have something called VAT (value added tax which is 17.5% added onto the orginal price).
