Well its easy to say that MS should of included a HD-DVD drive into the 360 and waited another year, while I loved both my 360 and the xbox 1 it just doesn't have the brand appeal that Sony and the Playstation has. The 360 would of been murdered if it waited an extra year to release.
Well MS does have Halo Wars, Alan Wake (guessing what date the game will come) and Splinter Cell Conviction coming out next year so that 3 potentially good games for the Xbox 360. Maybe wait a while and see what MS has for 2009, they do have their own event called X08 coming soon, maybe annouce some new titles for 2009.
Yeh but we are talking about the mass consumer, they will buy anything tbh lol.
So the games I will be buying this year are:
Stalker (PC: first one)
Stalker Clear Sky(PC)
LBP (PS3)
Fable 2 (360)
Mercs 2 (360)
Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts (360)
Motorstorm 2 (PS3)
Fifa 09 or PES 09 still waiting on those two
Company of Heroes and expansion packs (PC)
and some other games, as for my Wii still no love for that thing unless Nintendo release Pikmin 3.
Hell its cheap in England, I bought my 20GB Xbox 360 in Feb 2006 for £300 and now you get the 360 with a bigger hard drive, HDMI port, its cooler and less chance of RRoD for cheaper, I say thats a steal. I will be buying about 5 xboxes for others this christmas each with 4 games all of them including Too Human, gotta help the MS cause. =)
The console versions of the Orange box got a few updates and then it stopped. Valve is aruging with MS how releasing the updates for free and the new achievements, Valve is also too busy to release the updates for the PS3 version and you got EA who can't be asked to do anything. In the end, if you want to play Valve's products then get them on the PC where they are the best version.
I got the Slim version but I rarely play it, another pointless update to the PSP and if Sony keeps on doing this its just going to get annoying.
Neogaf is an awful forum, seriously its just bad.
Oh great another dev being arrogant...
Well for 2009, the 360 exclusives are:
Halo Wars
Alan Wake
Splinter Cell Conviction
Then you got some other teams from Rare working on some stuff, maybe some third party exclusivies and some new IP's.
2010 is the release date if you want to call it soon.
Too Human just seems to be a game which you will either hate with a passion or you will like. Read the reviews for just a basic overview of any game and then play the damn game if your interested tbh.
Can't wait for this game and Crysis with all settings on very high is just wow plus high res makes it look even better.
So Saw 5 it is.
While Sony wants to keep that 10 year plan they will have to release the PS4 around the 6th year of the PS3 as Nintendo and MS will be gearing up for a new console. Also the Xbox 1 costed MS so much money and they didn't even own the parts so lowering the price was hard for them, now with the 360 they own the parts and are able to lower the prices whenever they want, also Shane Kim (yes I know you hate him) said that MS is willing to support to the 360 for longer this time round, I reckon the...
Actually you will be surpised by the amount of games costing nearly £40 million. Home will feature adverts, Home will also sell clothles etc as a way for Sony to make money. If you want to spin it, think of Home as Habbo/Second Life its just another way to make money.
Timesplitters 4 will be mutiplatform because they want more money.
Gee Pain your really a person who uses programs which use alot of memory...
I got 64bit Vista Home Premium with 4GB of ram and I like it alot, sure it has problems but it isn't as bad as people say it is.
Ram is dirt cheap atm so if you need more then most people could afford it and then you got graphics cards which thank god for ATI making a great card at last, prices are being lowered so for the time being PC gaming isn't as expensive as it used to be, just not sure how long this will last though.
