Sony is not the one that needs to learn, it's the doomers and gloomers that have some learning to do. A slow start occurs with every new console cycle. We saw this with the PS3, the 360, the PS1, the PSP, the 3DS, and now the Vita, and soon the WiiU.
The Vita is here to stay so get use to it.

Yes it can, but acti will have to give this game it's own launch time frame. I suggest they launch in the spring to summer seasons when people are out and about and are more likely to use their portable video game unit.
If they launch this in the Christmas holidays, then people will most likely over look it and pick up the console version.

What a load of BS. Im no pro when it comes to analyzing the video games economy, but my common sense tells me that there is no way some one is going to pay $300 so they can enjoy a .99 cents game on a dedicated handheld for gaming..
And if you are talking about games on the iphone, then yes Sony need to make sure they get more of these types of games into their "minis" section for the same price. In fact Sony should reach out to these same small developers and tell them hey ...

Numbers look ok, some items dropped but that was expected. Can't wait to see Vita's performance once some core Japan games launches on the system.

Logic wins all the time. Great article and great read. If you go by history the vita's second week drop is in line with all of Sony's PlayStation products in terms of percentage, they all dropped about 76% on average.
I never knew the PS2 had such a drop from its opening week, and it went on to be the best selling home console ever.

This is just a bad production batch. Maybe a few hundred vitas went out that were bad from manufacturing. This sometimes happen when stocks run low and factories have to replenish sellers fast, some companies will go back to their bad batch and try to repair them and ship them out.

Easily a better show for the vita, hopefully this is the stratergy going forward. Use e3 for ps3 and GC for Vita.
