Just do the exact same thing Sony did + reveal the console. Thats it, that all they can do with 60 minutes.
They need someone like Mark Cerny to present their console (don't put no corporate exec on stage with the console in their hands), because Cerny just set the standard for console reveals. The cerny reveal/portation was damn near perfect.
Outside of that, this reveal feels lame, i mean Sony had a 45 second teaser video, a leaked controller and, damn ...
WOW, this is trending higher than the 720 reveal.
We have already seen the future of gaming and its PS4, so you are a few months late with that idea. If MS gets on stage and fail to deliver a presentation as passionate as Mark Cerny did, i will be scratching the 720 off my list this month.
Sony put a lot of time and effort into showing how much they cared about next gen that its damn hard for MS to come with anything less.

That's good, everybody gets to have some playstation love.
What I hope Sony does is attract women in a way that will make them evolve into medium to core gamers, not the wii and kinect approach that don't offer any kind of evolution from one level of gaming to the next. This way you don't have all these different markets on the platform, children, women, men that don't really communicate with each other.
They need to apply a method that will attract them but ...
PlayStation will carry Sony, KAZ knows what's up. Sony should have done this a long time ago.

No real reason? What about the huge difference in price. A gaming rig cost at minimum $1200. Was there any critical thought put into this article. Screw the power, the price alone is a good enough reason to invest into the ps4.
Btw, I suspect the ps4 will launch at a much more affordable price than a gaming rig.

If MS are having issues developers will move on to other platforms.
Developers are like current, they follow the path of least resistance.
MS issues will be their own, and it won't spill out and affect their competitors, in fact their competitors will benefit from MS woes.
