Great sales is great sales, I wont buy the game because it's an expansion pack and a whole 6 hour campaign, so it's not worth the $60. But we need to understand that Halo fans did not get a new Halo game for the past 2.5 years, so sales for ODST will be huge.
My stance have more to do with stopping the media from manipulating the public. We all know by now that this was done to help the BBC partnership with Microsoft.

But it will show investors that the 360 cannot compete against the competition on their home turf, it will also make the 360 and Microsoft look weak, not to mention that 75% of the industry's console inventors/manufactures (Sega,Sony,Nintendo) came from Japan.
Those 3 companies alone made videos what it is today, Microsoft just joined as the only US video game console maker 5-6 years ago, so if Microsoft want to prove that the 360 is worth it they must compete and be successful...

If Microsoft pulls out of Japan then Its game over world wide. Think about the message that would send if they did pull out, developers around the world would drop the 360 faster than they dropped the Dreamcast.
Microsoft is in a no win situation in Japan, and i'm afraid there is no turning back or way out, they need to hope and pray that Sony have no more major surprises at TGS, which is very unlikely because Sony is getting ready to go full steam on PS3 world wide, and this train ain'...
Lain Lee, a Bot, is the one hosting the show tonight, obviously his views will be very biased towards Sony.

It all makes sense now, Microsoft is sick and tired of Sony hardware reliability and are paying or at least funding the BBC efforts to tarnish Sony's PS3 reputation ...
Gotta give the Wii credit, it did not have such a big drop as the rest. But Sony (PS3) have September 2009 by the ballzzzzzzzz.
PS3 week 1 = 550,256
Xbox360 week 1 = 162,196
Wii week 1 = 181,970

PS3 week 2 = 306,793
Xbox360 week 2 = 146,913
Wii week 2 = 181,624

PS3 2 Weeks total = 857,049
Xbox360 2 Weeks total = 309,109
Wii week 2 Weeks t...
27g short of out selling the 360 and the Wii combined. Next week should sell 250g-275g easy.
Would be nice, but Sony would have to get the price right, $350 would be the magic number for any PS3 bundle.
"Actually it helps me feel pity for the Bots sucked into buying a $60 expansion pack for Halo 3, 3 years later. Good thing its for a console that fails 54.2% of the time, but really, these facts goes well with its fan base, which is why it make sense to you."

Dropping the price won't help anybody, because according to the opinions here, the reason why the boycotts are in effect is because of the fact that it will kill their potential UMD sales. So how exactly will reducing the price help?
A $60 expansion pack is outselling a $300 console.... Your logic fails hard. Stay in school dude, and when you make it to collage, do yourself a favor and major in Critical Thinking =/
It wont last, This is a limited edition after all, this is just crazy hardcore collectors. You'll these on ebay in November for double the price.
This wont stop the unit from selling, retailers that wont sell the go will regret it later when they miss whatever markup they would have made on the unit. Also other stores will sell the unit which will be better for them, competition wise.
Next gen a lot of small stores like these will be shutting down because they fail to realize that digital distribution will soon take over.
This must have cost Microsoft a ton of money, what's sad it that this is a 3rd party game which will be released day and date on the PS3, so what is the point of going all out like this?
This would have been better for Microsoft if they just invested into a 1st party game, stop paying Activision for your hard earned money.
Not with all their 1st Party games dropping this holiday, and like I said before $400 wont fly any more.
I'm probably one of the few PS3 fan boy who can say that $400 was always too much, especially for the 360 Elite.
People will not buy this at $400 not when everything else on the market cost less than $300, and by the time this game launches people will be so used to the $299 price tag that they wont see the value in a $400 console.
This will not sell at $400, not a chance in hell, and the skin is not that great, all it really is a big 2 on the front and some white strikes on the sides, whats so great about this. An Elite or PS3 at $299 + $49.99 for an extra controller, + MW2 ($59.99) will cost you the same as this bundle -$5 or $10.
I say skip this, and if you want to show your love for all things COD:MW2 then go out and buy a regular Elite/PS3 and pick up the Harden or Prestige Edition of the game, I guara...
Please monitor your kids online/Live/PSN activity, because stuff like this is not even funny. What a sicko.
