Early data coming in from vgchartz.com showed the PS3 selling 450K units for the week while the 360 sold 325k, not bad for the 2 consoles but it's good to see the PS3 on top in terms of HD on a black Friday week.

That's a $200 value for $80? I don't care how desperate MS is but they would not sell a 360 at that price.
It is hard to see Rare go down like this, these guys were the best back in the day with Nintendo, but like all things in life nothing last for ever.
I think it's great that Sony and Nintendo will take major chances to push the industry forward, and it always work out better for them and the industry when they do. Take this gen for example, bluray, wii mote, and now 3d, I see a great future for the industry, all it really needs now is a standard affordable price for hardware and software and some better jurnalist.

..And the content is right I will pay for the service, but as it is the current PSN is more than good enough for PS3 owners, so if Sony is talking about premium PSN service then it will be leaps and bounds over the current PSN. Not a bad idea, and they are a company that is dedicated to innovating technology, keeping consumers entertained, and first and foremost making money, as evil as that might sound it's their right to make money.
If they charge $1-$5 a month and 1/3-1/4...
PSN is a great expansion tool for Sony network devices, it can eventually become their own "iTunes."

Hopefully the price for the new 3D TV will be approachable for most families, but that's really up to Sony. If they are able to get a lead in this 3D business before any other company they need to launch at a mass market price, doing so will allow them to quite possible corner the market when it comes to consumer 3D devices.
Good luck to them, and it's good to see that they are finally talking about profit.

And we gotta give credit to Sony, they were able to sucssefully launch a $600 video game console and remain competitive with the 360 and Nintendo..... Well not really Nintendo, but still considering the high price tag win or lose Sony did great this gen..... "BOOM" and congrats to Sony..
